- Because you enjoy controlling the table you are sitting at.
- You enjoy recurring things, and then doing it again.
- You enjoy longer games where you interact and have to be interacted with.
Strategy
The entire deck is based around Glissa. You don't necessarily have to protect her when you cast her, as she won't be "the card" that is making you win, but she is the one recurring the cards that keep you in the game. Her job isn't to swing in for the win, but rather, watch the other creatures die from a battlefield point of view.
This is the actual deck that I own. It is slowly building toward the decklist above. I am a fan of pimping decks and I am unemployed currently, so it is a slow process. Probably not going to update this very much. I am constantly building for the deck above though.
I have done some touching up and editing of the deck list. I ended up removing Mindslaver and Vorinclex, Voice of Hunger because of the negative boardstates they created. If anyone has any suggestions, please comment.
If you want to combat combo Jesters Cap is a nice card to re use.
I actually had it in the deck. I cut it earlier this evening. Like Mindslaver and Vorinclex, it doesn't win the game when you use it and it doesn't do anything to guarantee a win eventually. It just slows the game down without advancing you and pissing off your opponents.
I can't speak for the OP, but in my build it's been decent drawing cards (Hoping for 1-2 more Mishra's Bauble like artifacts). The again, my deck is almost tutorless (Kuldotha Forgemaster and Expedition Map being the exceptions) so I value draw highly in my build.
