So this is the first deck list I'm sharing on this site. I guess I would call it casual though it has a pretty decent win ratio and as far as budget all the parts can probably be compiled for under $150 I'm not sure quite how much it cost as I bought some and traded for some. But I just wanted to share a monogreen option that wasn't Azusa or Ezuri and maybe get some feedback
Question and Answer Section
Q: So why play Molimo, Maro-Sorcerer?
A: He's awesome. He's not a common general so if you move around playgroups a lot you probably won't run into mirror matches. Plus he allows a fun twist on existing styles.
Q: Is this a general damage deck?
A: It can win with general damage but it doesn't need to. He is the main beater but I usually get up to 40 damage with him
Q: How do I know this deck is for me?
A:
-You like turning cards sideways to win but you don't want the hassle of having to turn more than one card sideways though.
-You want to build voltron but don't want to shell out for swords and struggle over finding all the necessary components (because swinging with a 36/36 trample is scary enough).
-You like quick turns and yet still watching other people struggle to answer you (maybe my meta's should start running more removal :cool2:)
-You like to run a lot of lands
Q: How do I know this deck isn't for me?
A: You don't like relying on your general and like to win through combo.
Q: Why did you build this deck?
A: My friend was ragging on me for my lack of ability to build a timmy deck I was satisfied with.
Q: How does this deck win?
A: Swinging with Molimo and Ulamog usually. Sometimes with an army of wolves
The first thing that sticks out to me is that Molimo needs protection. Lightning Greaves and Swiftfoot Boots are great for that, and haste is never a bad thing to add to a huge trampling dude. You could cut Concordant Crossroads and Amulet of Vigor for them. The functionality of the former is taken care of by its replacement and I don't think you have enough ways to abuse the latter.
Molimo dying has never really bothered me because I can always replay him with ease. Concordant also helps for genesis wave or howl of the nightpack
Good call on the nature's lore. You'd be surprised the number of clashes I win. When the deck works properly the lands aren't left in my deck. Besides the benefit is you have a chance of flipping a nonbasic land. Garruk, Primal Hunter is actually already in the deck I forgot to write him as He's the only planeswalker. I should only have marked 34 forests
i would took out the Eldrazi to replace them with rampaging baloths and avenger of zendikar, seems to me they would fit better there...
With perilous foray and the baloth, thats a lot of lands coming into play for you for only one mana...
Gaea's touch looks cool. There is no way in hell I'm taking the eldrazi out. I draw my deck so fast (Greater Good + Molimo) The eldrazi have been the only things stopping me from milling myself out a bunch of times. Also Ulamog is one of my few answers and also casting him with haste five turns in a row is an awesome feeling

For ramp, Rampant Growth is just not as good as Nature's Lore. Also, you won't win many clashes when half your deck is land, so I'd switch to Snow-Covered Forests and run Into the North and Scrying Sheets instead. Finally, since Harrow isn't fixing your colors and you run so many lands, Explore is probably better.
Garruk, Primal Hunter is Soul's Majesty plus other awesome effects. There's virtually no conflict with the Garruk Wildspeaker you want to run because planeswalkers tend to have short lives in EDH.
