Here we go... The first solid version of my Trostani, Selesnya's Voice EDH deck. Why did I choose Trostani? Because it's two of my favorite strategies together in one card: token creatures and life gain. I will continue to update as I make changes to the deck and write a little primer as I go along. I am also on the fence about a few cards (see below in the spoiler tags) and would like some feedback on what would work best with this deck. Thanks for reading and thanks in advance for your comments.

You need Ajani Goldmane in a BAD BAD way. With trostani and Doubling Season out, you can instantly ultimate Ajani and make stupidly large tokens and gain stupidly large amounts of life. If you are at 20 life, the first Avatar will come in at 20, you gain 20 life and it goes to 40. The next one comes in at 40, you gain 40 and go to 80 life. So the net is 80 life and 2 80/80 avatar tokens (assuming you started at 20 life). That's assuming you also don't populate a token and get a 3rd. You also want thing that make big tokens like mimic vat and nice things to attach to vat like Serra Avatar
Ajani Goldmane is going back in for sure. I had it in at first, then tried something different for a while, and now I'm coming back to it. Mostly a matter of deciding what to cut.
Good call on Mimic Vat... That may put me in a spot to have to decide between that and Phyrexian Processor. I worry that trying to accomodate both in the deck may have diminishing returns.
Note: I won't make changes to the list in the top post until I physically swap those cards out from the deck.

Primal hunter is a good call here. This deck focuses more on big tokens than token swarms.
Actually, you wan to run both Mimic Vat and Phyrexian Processor. Trostani needs tokens to populate and both of these make big tokens every turn (assuming you attach something big to them,)

You wanna run both. Phyrexian Processor is a win con with Trostani out. Pay 39 life, make 39/39 token, gain 39 life. I love this card tons. BTW, don't actually make such big tokens. Trostani gets blown up and yer stuck at 1 life and you feel stupid. Mimic Vat has been more of a ramp help than anything else lately but copying a "ETB or LTB go get land" creature to use every turn is way good. Making copies of the token it generates is gravy.
I disagree with adding lifegain though. Trostani by himself usually is enough for me to stay comfortable. Leaves more room for Big Stuff, except True Conviction. That wins games as well.

Garruk, Primal Hunter is almost definitely going to replace Garruk Wildspeaker. Just need to track down a copy of the card.
