Basically I wanted the deck to be able to function even if I didn't have Krond out there. There's a decent amount of ramp and obviously an enchantress them, which makes sense. This was a pretty fun deck to play. Here are the videos: http://puremtgo.com/articles/conqueror-commander-vol-xcviii-krond-dawn-clad

Hey, I was perusing my binder the other day and came across krond and decided to make a deck out of him. I already have a casual enchantress deck and am going to transform that into a krond edh deck. I was on the internet the other day trying to see if anyone else was toying with the idea and saw your deck and watched your videos before viewing this post, so this kind of crazy. I like what you are doing, but there are a couple of changes I would make. I was thinking knight of the reliquary, oracle of muldaya, weathered wayfarer, sigarda and avacyn, angel of hope. The first three help smooth land drops and the other two provide a couple of efficient big beaters that can carry an enchantment. I like cataclysm and divine reckoning. Also, privilege position and I would play aura shards over rain of thorns.
Glad you found the list! A couple things about your suggestions.
I don't recommend Weathered Wayfarer, Divine Reckoning or Aura Shards. With the Wayfarer, you should be ahead in mana of most decks, unless you play against a dedicated ramp deck. Aura Shards, you just don't have enough creatures to reliably activate it. I tried Divine Reckoning, and hated it. I was leaving a huge dude, or sometimes 3, on the table. Almost every time it was better to just Wrath and re-cast Krond.
Other than Cataclysm, all the rest of your suggestions are pretty good, and just a matter of personal preference. I'm just not a fan of Cataclysm, but if you are, good for you.
Hope you have fun with Krond! He's a good time.

Or hitting their land and then hitting their creature? Resource denial - while the cause of many flipped tables - is a valid strategy.
On Cataclysm: I know what I'd keep. Krond, a protection enchantment on him (protection from white, shroud, something like that), plains, and Basalt Monolith. Then cast Replenish. Seal of Cleansing comes back and destroys one of the permanents they kept.
I'm not a fan of Cataclysm. Period. I understand if you want to play it, but I never had a game where I thought "wow, I really need Cataclysm here."
As for Divine Reckoning, every time I drew it I wished it was a Wrath. At a multiplayer table each player would have a fat creature. So I could get rid of 1, but there would be 2 left. And that's assuming I had Krond in play. I dunno, maybe you'll have better results. But I tried it.

I would suggest trying out Ethereal Armor.
But seriously guys, the list is almost 2 years old. You could probably use it as a basis for a deck, but there's lots of new stuff to add.
