This deck is a lot of fun, and can hang with the best of them on a good day, even in 1v1. Douse, Hibernation and more are serious powerhouses. The deck does need a little bit of tweaking (as does every deck ). But it is very, very fun.
I wanted to make a deck unlike any I had ever seen. I enjoy complex interactions and playing control until I can pull out the win whether via mindslaver lock (not fun), or a Narwhal equipped with a sword of protection from all colors (very fun), this deck does lot's of fun stuff!
Codex Shredder, Jar of Eyeballs, and Urza's Glasses aren't the kind of things I want in this deck. You're looking to fit a theme in to the deck, where I'm looking for more synergies.
I thought about tidal control but i dont like things with cumulative upkeeps. I will definitely be putting drift of phantasms in. Where should I cut to make room foor the boots? I was thinking the color changing spells that don't do anything else.
wrath was just not cutting it. and swirl the mists is mediocre, suddenly all my protection swords are protection from red and red. Sure it fixes some corner cases where I want Homarid shaman to be tap target black creature, but I usually don't need or want to change 'every' color word.
Out glamerdye
It just wasnt worth retracing, lands are too valuable. Also lately ive been feeling like i have one or two too many color changing spells.
In Tidebinder Mage
It just doesn't work, it costs too much mana. Even later in the game I need caged sun and blind seer out and probably training grounds in order to change the color of all their lands. And at that point it'd probably be easier just to play cyclonic rift, which I'm debating.

Blind Seer is really fun to play, and can mess with things your opponents will not be prepare for.

Other good cards are Tidal Control and Drift of Phantasms (because it fetches Douse). Also, you're hardly dead in the water if something happens to thr Seer, but it'd be nice if he had some resilliance. Lightning Greaves, Swiftfoot Boots, and Darksteel Plate help with that, especially with all your artifact tutoring.

Isochron isn't as good as it could be. I only ever want to have blue elemental blast, hydroblast or hurkyl's recall on it ever.
Dang, I havn't done anything with this deck in a while.
