Coming back to the game after being away from it for several months. Decided to take apart my Kaalia and Azusa decks for parts to make Sigarda and Thraximundar decks instead. My progress on the former will be recorded here. Comments, critiques, suggestions and all other types of pleasant conversation are more than welcome!
Slap a Darksteel Plate on her and anything short of a Mutilate will not kill her. Came across her in a Sisay deck last week. (Was able to play around her though)

Interesting. Darksteel Plate is something I usually write off as being somewhat janky. Maybe it's worth its slot here, though? In any case, thanks for the suggestion!
Knight of New Alara may or may not be worth a slot, does pump her by +2/+2 though.
My first EDH deck was a Sigarda deck, and I loved it. The deck wasn't very serious, or very strong, but once she hit the table I almost always won if they couldn't remove her. Sword of Vengeance, Loxodon Warhammer, Behemoth Sledge, all of the swords, those are all great ways to pump her. Shield of the Oversoul may or may not be worth a slot, it does give her +2/+2 and is another way to make her indestructible. Armadillo Cloak might be a consideration; not only does she get another +2/+2 but the lifegain, while not always important, does stack on anything else that gives her lifelink.
i play sigarda voltron deck and you would be surprised how many ways people have to deal with her. this format really favors spells like hallowed burial and terminus as well as other things that stop sigarda hard like hinder and spell crumple. also you've got to think, are you really going to wait until you have 7 mana to play sigarda and attach the darksteel plate?
the main thing i can suggest is to play a lot of quick ramp. i play nature's lore, three visits, cultivate, kodoma's reach, cultivate, and the ilk, just to make sure you get the turn 4 sigarda and be ensured you can recast her after she dies.
also if sigarda gets taken care of, it is extremely useful to have manlands left over after wraths to still get in there essentially hasty on an empty field with a bunch of swords and equipment to help finish the job. i use treetop village, vitu-ghazi, the city tree, and stirring wildwood.
good luck!
edit: also a really good idea to play green sun's zenith, chord of calling, and eladamri's call. if sigarda gets tucked you always can get her back. if not, youve got a killer package for other silver bullets and you're probably winning anyway.

Do you find yourself favoring spell-based ramp to creature-based ramp (a la Farhaven Elf) in Sigarda? This is another of the fundamental decisions I need to make.

Seconded. If you're going to go a route in between enchantress and equipment, I'd at least include these two. On top of that, Bear Umbra seems bonkers. It gives you another SoFaF effect and pseudo-indestructibility.
hmn, i like the spell-based ramp because they are faster and i don't find myself needing the bodies very often. if i win with sigarda its because i outpaced everyone else, not because i had better chump blockers. it really depends on the tempo you want to give the deck.
oh and yeah, totem armor is the shizniz with sigarda.

Bear Umbra is one I forgot about, Bismuth is right, run it. Shouldn't even second think that one. Rancor is another obvious include, as the additional +2 sets her clock to three turns.
As someone else said earlier, I find if you play very resilient creatures they tend to be labeled as "the threat" so they are taken out first. If you are playing Sigarda, everyone knows they are going to have a hell of a time if she hits the table, so they will start getting ready for her. I thought of playing her in a token deck, since it basically makes you have too much stuff to deal with, you may be ignored for a while, they will be holding guns for Sigarda, but your little token hits may get through while they are waiting for you to drop the hammer, not to mention when you start building up tokens, they are forced to reset the board, which helps Sigarda later.
Just an idea, I would love to hear some game reports on how your deck is working, I love Sigarda but thus far I have not figured out how to play her to win.
I would also plan to add a decent ramp package if I were you. Explore is fairly cool and fast when you dont need to worry too much about fixing into a certain color. I would consider several 0-3 mana ramp options if I were you.
I could go further but most of my own experience is in mono green Thrun. Adding white and adding evasion + the ability to be counter tucked just opens a few other dimensions that I might not quite be online with.

I have officially moved to MTGNexus. I just wanted to let people know as my response time to salvation decks being bumped is very hit or miss.
It actually doesn't add that much protection at all as the two above are generally what most people are trying to do to defend themselves from you as is. Plus, the most common sweeper, Austere Command and Living Death still catch you...

Thanks for the welcome, and your suggestions, as always :). Regarding being gone for awhile, I only ever played EDH around the kitchen table with a fairly close-knit group of people. It was a nice balance between competitive Legacy players who played EDH to kick back and casual players who learned a ton about the game from the more experienced folks. I fell somewhere in between. In any case, the group dissolved this fall, and without a regular place to play, it became hard to keep brewing ideas, and of course game reports went out the window. Feels good to be back around, though. Hoping I can keep interest up and get back into the swing of playing fairly regularly somehow.

Woah, I didn't say it was impossible to get rid her with it on there. But Cloning and Sweeping/tucking is one of the few ways to get of her.
And making her indestructible takes away most of the sweeps (until it's gone). Austere Command would only get rid of the enchantment and not the creature also if I'm not mistaken??

Actually due to how the effect works, it actually does the two effects you choose one at a time so it would destroy all enchantments, and then all creatures with 4+ mana. So due to how it handles the choices one at a time as they read on the card it still takes her out.

Here I put in a rules question for it just to confirm for you.
You learn something new every day. Thanks for the heads up. You're right
that Austere Command is one of the most popular sweeps, but it still takes away the vast majority of sweeps. Which makes her a real pain to get rid of.
I think he ditched the idea. If you would like some assistance with building one though I might recommend hitting up the Deck Database for some ideas. I cant say that I can vouch for any of them personally but I did actually mach up a rough draft for a friend a while back here if it helps at all. It was a bit of a rough draft for him though and its a little dated but it might help some.

if you have the good lands to support it, i would suggest playing sylvan scrying and crop rotation so that you can have quick access to cavern of souls, high market, hall of the bandit lord, cathedral of war, and quick mana like ancient tomb.
also some super tech i use is bower passage, o-naginata, concordant crossroads, dueling grounds.

...
Azusa - Derevi - Glissa - Mizzix - Sharuum - Wanderer - Wort
Soul's Majesty, Garruk, Primal Hunter, Momentous Fall, Hunter's Insight, and Greater Good will all give you a good draw base off of your commander to get started.
Rancor - with hexproof on your commander it makes it really hard to stop it lol.
Snake Umbra - More draw plus the totem effect is actually not half bad.
Sylvan Library - ..... I dont think I need to explain.

I used to run into the same thing against Uril, the Miststalker who notoriously picks up Shield of the Oversoul which is a better selection than indestructibility in my mind but still breaks down to the command.
