This is your typical degenerate Azusa deck. Make tons of mana and hurricane or lock people out with strip mine and crucible of the worlds. It's not very exciting, but it is effective.
removed tectonic edge and petrified field for two basic lands. Tec edge is the worse of the LD lands I have and having colored mana was more important. petrified field was in there from when i didn't have crucible and i really never use it. Having crucible and enough GY recursion is enough for the deck. i'm happier with the basics.
removing summoning trap and adding in garruk, caller of beasts. I want to use the new garruk, i think he is pretty cool. i feel his two abilities work similar function to what summoning trap does, but allows for multiple use. also, never get to trap cost.
removed defense of the heart for gaea's touch. it was rare that i wasn't winning the creature race with this deck so defense never triggered. so why not add more ramp/extra land effects.
removed vernal bloom for mana reflection. for two more mana it helps all my sources and none of my opponents. seemed worth it and easy enough to afford mana-wise.
removed mana crypt and planar portal. mana crypt, is awesome but the difference between turn 1 azusa dump your hand and turn 2 azusa dump your hand wasn't that much difference. planar portal is so expensive to use. i would rather more reliable card draw. added in seer's sundial and well of knowledge. I am not sure if well of knowledge is going to help opponents too much, but i like it in this deck.
removed platinum empiron for wood elves. more ramp vs a guy that would get bribery/controlled and cost me games. ok.
also, retooled the decklist to be in alphabetical order under each card type section for ease of reading/making changes.

G wave comes back in. never should have left. the hurricane series came out, because now without a lifeloss stopper, i just die to my own spell or don't deal enough. I was split in too many directions; big dudes, squirrels, hurricane for a win con. cutting hurricane made the most sense as it was the weakest overall strategy for the deck.
polukronos deals with creatures like hurricane would, except more mana for more targetability.
Of course the biggest impact could be changing your general to Omnath, Locus of Mana.

i back and forth about adding in crop rotation; it's really good, but more often then not would find me strip mine vs cradle. and i'd go for crucible abuse.

Mono Red's Strengths and Mono White's Strengths
It was a tough call on this one. I really like genesis wave and it sets me up to win the following turn, but because I am not running a haste enabler like concordant crossroads or some sort of infinite permanent destruction such as melira, sylvok refugee + ashnod's altar/phyrexian altar + woodfall primus I leave myself too open to get wiped.
Have you found more success with it in your decks?

Bow of Nylea is also a consideration for use with attacking tokens.
Also from M14 Into the Wilds and Garruk's Horde.
Of course the biggest impact could be changing your general to Omnath, Locus of Mana.

mana sinks aren't so much the issue, it's more refilling the gas. dumping hand by turn 3 just burns too quick.
