As we see, the Planechase 2 legendary creatures add some serious options to the world of Commander. A lot of people like Uril, and I was thinking about designing him, until I realized...a lot of people HATE Uril. So, I decided to try making a deck, focusing on Krond, The Dawn-Clad. The deck focuses on an enchantress theme, and two-power matters and druid subthemes.
Now, the main gameplan is to get Krond to land and then start getting in for general damage. Krond's ability to exile permanents allows him to be insane in combat. Now, some synergies.
The deck's wincons are also it's wraths. Both Cataclysm and Divine Reckoning are unique in that they leave one dude on your board. You want that dude to be Krond, in all of his majestic, Aura-clad glory. Then, when you go to swing at an opponent, exile his last guy, and you've got a free swing at his dome. In 1v1, it's a good idea to exile lands, to keep them off of mana. Krond, with any power boosting enchantment, kills in three swings. Krond's Vigilance is handy for repelling swings by other players in these instances.
The enchantress build is supplemented by both Mentor of the Meek, and Gilt-Leaf Archdruid, allowing the enchantresses, to become cantrippers themselves. If you can assemble enough druids, Gilt-Leaf Archdruid is a wincon.
In the early game, you want to be sure to be putting down dudes and spells that can help you fix your mana, to beat Krond's annoying cast restriction.
Now, the very theme of Auras, is that they are pure card disadvantage. The deck is built to make sure that recursion won't be a huge issue, and packs plenty of it, including secret tech Skull of Orm.
Flickering Ward is crazy in this deck, since it's so cheap to both cast and bounce. It can draw tons of cards at sorcery speed, and is a prime target to get with Sun Titan, should it get Krosan Gripped.
The deck doesn't have a ton of removal, because Krond's trigger beats all sorcery-speed removal (which is why Beast Within is still in here, and is still awesome.)
Cards I'm Pondering Over: Primal Surge - When this card premiered in AVR, I was one of it's spoken haterz, believing that any deck that could use this effectively would be extremely weak. Now, while this deck is hardly Zur or Azusa, I think this deck is somewhat strong. This deck only has seven non-permanents...I wonder. Genesis Wave probably won't make the cut here, since this deck eschews ramp in exchange for explosive draw and consistently being able to equip Krond as soon as he loses summoning sickness.

Replenish and Academy Rector! Forgot about those. It's a bit pricey, so it goes on the Upgrade list. Privileged Position is already there, and is a great card if you own it/can afford it.
Open the Vaults is questionable to me, since you would intend to throw it down to suit up Krond and go for an alpha strike...except your opponents have just rezzed all their artifacts and enchantments, and you're down six mana. Just not sure if it's good enough.
Berserk is ridiculously expensive and considering the only thing you would want to hit it with is Krond himself (and losing him sucks,) I'm gonna have to say no.
Now, don't get me wrong, I love some Grave Pact effects...but in Krond, the only thing you're likely to lose is Auras, and the few enchantments people play get nuked pretty quickly if they prove an issue to Krond. Martyr's Bond doesn't synergize well here, basically.

I'm upgrading the deck to focus a bit on exalted, since Krond will usually be attacking alone. Added Angelic Benediction over the less impressive Verdant Embrace, since getting TWO blockers out of Krond's way when he swings will likely increase his chances of getting through and beating face. I'll also add in Cathedral of War and Sublime Angel when I get them.

Mine, instead of having a druid sub theme, is all out enchantress, and does not fun Femeref Enchantress. Instead I take the liberty of running almost like a toolbox, where some of my auras are removal, some of them are buff, most of my enchantments help me ramp or shut down certain strategies, or protect my own stuff. For me, the Gilt-Leaf Archdruid is not enough to get the job done on its own, you need way more druids. While it is a draw engine, I don't see why you couldn't include Argothian Enchantress, a few more creature tutors, and make your draw engines of enchantress's the main focus of the deck.
The problem is not only that Argothian Enchantress is extremely rare, it's also friggin' expensive.
One card this deck wants and should be able to get shortly, is Angelic Destiny. Thanks to the oncoming m12 rotation, this card should be a 3 dollar mythic in the coming weeks.
I've obtained a Cathedral of War, which replaces a forest.

Hey, I´ve built an Krond Deck as well and used your Deck to get some ideas.
I have some questions and also some suggestions:
Questions:
How is Femeref Enchantress working ouf for you so far? Does she an "ok" job or is she irreplaceable in your deck?
Same question for Gilt-Leaf Archdruid. His card draw ability seems a little bit restricted to me.
Does Triumph of Ferocity a good job? You must have a strong board position with Krond out, otherwise you got almost no strong creatures (except the Titans)
Suggestions: Karmic Justice: If Femeref Enchantress is working ok, then this card here will do a lot of damage. Costs about 2-3 € (sorry, we germans think in euros )
Congregation at dawn : A pretty sweet tutor, let´s you tutor for mana, for Titans, for creatures that can search of reanimate enchantments, for enough druids for the 7-druids-trigger and so on. With an active draw-engine on the board you basically can draw the cards directly. Costs a few cents.
Seton, Krosan Protector : Isn´t the best card, but gives you Mana and fits perfectly in you druid-theme. Also has Power 2, which let´s Mentor of the Meek and Reiveillark trigger. And it looks awesome! Costs a few cents.
Citanul Hierophants : Does a better job than Seton concerning ramp, isn´t instant speed but that isn´t the major idea of this deck. But he doesn´t trigger Mentor of the Meek or Reveillark. And looks less cool.
Gigantomancer : Obvious: Makes your (many) small creatures huge. It has high casting costs, but your mana-curve is pretty low, so there´s room for that. Also works good with the two following lands. Costs at the most 1 €
Inkmoth Nexus : Now this is special. I decided to give it a try. It´s another win-option if the rest fails. With exaltet it´s 2/2, boost it with an aura or Gigantomancer and it becomes a immediate threat. Fell in the price. I picked one up for 4 €
Vitu-Ghazi, the City-Tree : Not too sure about that one, but it can fix you creatures when you need a blocker or a target for Flickering Ward, or simply to trigger Mentor of the Meek. Costs a few cents.
Hall of the Bandit Lord : Simple: Gives your Krond haste, saves you a turn, if you aren´t lucky enough to have the swiftfoot boots out on the field. Costs a few cents.
Yavimaya Hollow : Saves your creatures from removal. Lets you keep 2 creatures with your mass removal cards instead of 1. But a littly pricey card.
Kor Haven : Can prevent a lot of damage if your board position is weak. I can imagine that this can easily be the case if Krond is in the Command zone. A little pricey, but i picked it up for 6 €
Maze of Ith : Does the same thing as Kor Haven, but does it better. I play both. With the upcoming From the Vault Realms it´s also payable. When you buy it, you can also put Vesuva in the deck.
There's a lot to like about your suggestions. Unfortunately, Maze of Ith got put in my Kaalia, and Vesuva in Glissa. I try to avoid colorless non-basics unless they're REALLY good. In that respect, Vitu-Ghazi isn't that great, and the deck has no way to really keep Inkmoth Nexus powerful enough without constantly sacrificing Auras. Hall of the Bandit Lord doesn't work with Krond, because there's no way to pay his casting cost with colorless mana.
Gigantomancer is interesting, but isn't good enough. Karmic Justice is limited by the fact that Krond himself will probably eat the removal, since it allows for X-for-1's.
Citanul Hierophants is being considered.
In other news, I managed to open a foil Sublime Archangel in a random pack, and it's in the deck. Return to Ravnica's Chromatic Lantern, Grove of the Guardian, and Selesnya Guildgate are being considered for the deck, as well as an increased chance of getting Temple Garden.

I've been playing a similar Krond deck since he came out and if there is one card I absolutely love its Instill Energy. Being able to attack with Krond on the turn he comes out is awesome. If it shows up too late for that, its great on any number of creatures for the untap.
I've never seen Instill Energy. It looks interesting.
Got my hands on an Angelic Destiny today, as well as Swords to Plowshares. Plowshares replaces PtE, since lifegain is irrelevant to Commander damage. Prismatic Omen is being taken out as well, as will Joiner Druid soon enough, to make room for Chromatic Lantern.
Kor Haven I'm considering also. I just don't want to get mana-screwed trying to cast Krond.

You could use it to pay for Krond's general tax and give him haste. Not sure if that is good enough reason for you to use it though.
Do you normally find it hard to keep Krond on the board? Or does he usually stay around long enough for you?
Krond's general tax is not part of his casting cost, and thus it doesn't work.
Krond doesn't stick around forever, but since he's in the colors for aura recursion, he can keep getting his stuff back without too much worry.

Actually the general tax is an addition cost to cast the creature and so Hall of the Bandit Lord does give haste.
I know I am bringing back an older thread discussion but I recently constructed a Krond deck myself and wanted to restart some discussion.
First, I did not see an Aura Shards in your list. It can do hilarious things with Pollenbright Wings. Plus, it is just a strong card all around. Second, I actually really like Veteran Explorer. Yes, he ramps your opponents, but usually you get to decide when he blocks/attacks into blockers and a lot of the good stuff in Krond seems to pretty high CMC so the extra, early ramp is nice for us. Now some Auras I've had success with. Both thevows from Commander decks in color are great pump and protection. The green one for trample is especially nice for Krond since he really wants it. Also, Elephant Guide is some decent wrath protection since it gives you a dude to start rebuilding with.
I'll eventually get my list posted and I hope we can look at more options

Unflinching courage works well in here, and I was thinking, with the theme of buffing creatures and what not ala enchantments, could Wolfir Silverheart & Silverblade paladin and cards of that ilk work in here?

While it is a draw engine, I don't see why you couldn't include Argothian Enchantress, a few more creature tutors, and make your draw engines of enchantress's the main focus of the deck.

One card this deck wants and should be able to get shortly, is Angelic Destiny. Thanks to the oncoming m12 rotation, this card should be a 3 dollar mythic in the coming weeks.
I've obtained a Cathedral of War, which replaces a forest.

Both the vows from Commander decks in color are great pump and protection.
