Nora is a treefolk planeswalker wielding black, white, and green magic. Her magic's nature is that of iron resolve, making her defenses and those of her allies stronger than the most tempered metal to ever come out of the clachans of Goldmeadow.
An Immaculate of Lys Alana, Nora was an amazing huntress, boastful of her high success rate in hunting the so-called eyeblights of Lorwyn. In anticipation of the Great Aurora, she cast a lignification spell upon herself in an attempt to survive. She later found that the phenomenon's immense magic made her unable to reverse the spell. She now stands guard over Safehold in Shadowmoor, still feeling indebted to her former people.
Get Doran out and play a ton of high-toughness stuff that attacks. I thought about Ensnaring Bridge but it seems like it can backfire too easily. Bar the Door and Tower Defense function as Overruns in here pretty nicely.
I assume that's because Tree of Redemption is just a tree, and not technically a sentient Treefolk. Not that Doran cares about that small detail, but some cards do.
The thing is, they are giant blowouts if you do have Doran. I hear two-mana Overruns are good.
I guess, but given that there's only three creatures with evasion in the deck (trample and landwalk) and the creature desnity isn't that high to begin with, I don't really like generic Rally the Peasants-type spells (especially when they're dependent on the general to be good). At least Overrun grants trample if you're going to make that comparison.
I have a Doran deck that is 3 cards away from being unproxied. I love the deck it is a whole lot of fun. Mine is not tribal though so it's a tad different.
I love Bar the Doors and Tower Defense. You could also consider Solidarity it is just as good.
You mention Ensnaring Bridge could back fire on you, and I agree that it can to you. My Doran deck focuses solely on keeping my powers low (Heartless Summoning, Animate Dead) and raising my opponents (Sheltering Ancient). So the goal is to have my powers as low as possible so that they can swing under the bridge and my opponents are too big to do anything. It also runs Meekstone and Marble Titan and a couple other things to benefit from this style. I used to run Timber Protector but he didn't really give much benefit with his +1/+1, also he died to my board wipes (Retribution of the Meek, Solar Tide).

Emille, Seven-Sting Dancer Shalin Nariya
I can see the thought process on Bar the Door and Tower Defense, but I'm not the biggest fan of one-shot effects that are terri-bad without Doran. Leyline of Vitality is decent (I think?).
Also note that somehow Tree of Redemption isn't actually a tree. It's a plant.

Runed Arch could give your guys the evasion for a game ending swing.
Some spot removal I run that you don't Unmake, Ashes to Ashes, and Tragic Slip.
