Oh my goodness, Zegana is boring. Ramp decks are boring. Fatties are boring. Card draw is super-boring. I'll be surprised if I don't slip into a coma the first time I set eyes on a physical copy of this card. So let's stay on theme! Artifacts? They are too good at enabling crazy early plays. Too interesting. Out. Enchantments? Be careful, some of them have truly wacky abilities. Even the straightforward ones have a certain mystical something about them. Out. Planeswalkers? Hell, I don't even know how they work. Out. Nonbasic lands? Mana management? Are you kidding me? Lands that take more than half a second to read? Please. Lands don't deserve to do things. Unless they're boring. So just for a little lack of variety, there are a couple of extra-boring ones in here. But just as a safety measure to make sure you have a good chance of still registering a pulse at the end of the game.
When I thought about building around the Prime speaker, I thought about creatures that scale with my hand size. You have several of these, but perhaps missed on that might (read: should) turn Zegana into a table drain similar to Jarad.
That card is psychosis crawler. The happy fun time idea is to have psychosis crawler, deadeye navigator and draw your deck while finishing the table.
But your game plan of killing them in their sleep works too. Wait a minute, is this secretly a dimir deck somehow? Killing people in their sleep isn't very simic...

Yipes. I had thought about a few handsize-matters guys, but that one slipped by me.
Assuming your "standard" 7 cards in hand to start:
Cast Zegana, draw 8 (8 total to each opponent). Pair with Navigator.
Flicker Zegana, draw 16 (24 total to each opponent). Repair with Navigator.
Flicker Zegana, draw 32 (56 total to each opponent). Win?

EDIT: also, this obviously needs more goodstuff.
Would love it. Shame about the whole artifact thing.
Gaea's Cradle: Basically, Lab and Tower are there because I could not bear not running them, even in this deck. Every other card I've arbitrarily excluded can be lived without, even stuff like Omniscience or Doubling Season, or the aforementioned Crawler. Not those two. Can't do it. Cradle, on the other hand? Totally don't care.
All the creatures: I'm really bad at evaluating cards for goodstuff. The list as it currently stands is basically a parody of what your average goodstuff deck looks like, because I have no experience with the archetype whatsoever. All those cards were on the shortlist, but ended up being trimmed because I wanted something big, derpy and self-contained instead. Are they honestly good enough to run?
Also, Diluvian Primordial! Chancellor of the Spires was a very late cut, and I'm pretty sure I like this guy an awful lot more, as does almost every EDH deck. In it goes! I'm in my usual phase of deckbuilding where I haven't played the thing and thus have no idea how good some of the cards are, so I don't know what to take out. For now it's Jin-Gitaxias, but I'm pretty sure that's wrong.

But what? Are Venser, Shaper Savant, Acidic Slime, and Avenger of Zendikar too interesting for you? Riptide Laboratory is so much more interesting than Gaea's Cradle. And Kamahl, Fist of Krosa/Craterhoof Behemoth, I’m sure they feel left out too.
Oh Rider, my heart will go on...
