This is the first deck I own that I'll be posting on MTGS, please provde suggestions. I am on a somewhat tight budget right now, so please keep that in mind. Some problems on the deck formatting, sorry.

Built the deck to be less "other people" interactive, kept getting burned by my own cards. I like the Heartwood Storyteller still, Trade Secrets was cast on me and inspired me to pull it into this deck. Needed some more power, Kozilek was a bit more damaging to me. Found a need for a counter and a generic, multipurpose removal spell (Capsize). Took out some silly things too (Rite of Replication, Rush of Knowledge, Primal Command, etc.) More reanimation added as well, for less reliance on the Dino-Arm. Overall, just some moving around of priorities.
15/7/11 Besides updates for consistency removal of a bit of ramp (never needed it, mana fixing is fine thus far), this was mainly about reanimation for cards that read "into play" and Fleshbag Marauder. Fleshbag has been the culprit behind degeneration off of Living Death, as people often copy my Butcher of Malakir/have one out after L.Death, which results in no creatures, which is no fun at all. Alot of Transmute, added Willbender to deal with Bojuka Bog, and added Redirect to stop shenanigans without counters. Even if it says "My graveyard" I dont care, as my goal is to stock my graveyard, fend off a few Bojuka Bogs, and go crazy....
Next update should include M12 and stuff that has gotten old, or proven to cause degeneration/decrease in my board state.Jin-Gitaxis is continuing to outlive his cuteness. Maybe a Teferi to give my stuff flash, could replace Jin....
Upgraded Crystal Ball to a Top. Removed Scythe Specter in favor of Magus of the Future. Looking for cards to grant flash to make deck more potent.

Yavimaya Elder removed due to a lack of need for ramp, and having to pay 2 to draw a card late game and lose a creature. Not good enough when I need big stuff. Needed a new big body for reanimation, spotted promo pathrazer, he finds home. Should be saucy with Annhilator and 3+ blockers reqd. Teferi and Genesis swapped places. Genesis was an expensive, slow recursion machine for this deck, which focuses on recursion to the field. As such, he was taken out for my new Rith deck that is currently in preliminary construction. Teferi was added because the ability to cast anything I want at instant speed is saucy. I'm thinking of this play right now: "Living Death at your end step. *untaps, upkeep, draw* swing with my super stuff ;D

Took alot out. I wanted to make this deck a little more friendly to play against, so I took a creature out (I'm excited for Innistrad as a block for new shenanigans in my 'yard) and took Jin out. I much prefer Teferi to Leyline of Anticipation for granting me flash, since I can reanimate him. I find it unfortunante that it makes everyone else play at sorcery speed, but I have to have some protection from counters these days. Took some control stuff out, like rewind, rething, redirect, induce paranoia for more reanimation and overall better stuff. I moved the land count around to account for more black sources being needed. At this point, I run green simply for big things. I'm debating the need for spot removal for creatures, such as Doom Blade, Ashes to Ashes, or Dismember. My life total is really just a large resource for me. Butcher went away to make the deck "friendly" and I also took an active look at decreasing the high cost spells and turning them into low cost good stuff.

Whooooooo let's see....I went through a Skittles spell for a bit, he was fun. I got bored. I beat someone to death with the Mimeo for 40 life in one swing (Lord of Extinction is awesome >_>) I might move this to a combo deck. I often find myself wanting flash, and I had Teferi out, so I put him back in. Dissipate/Last Word are strictly better counters. Dream Halls added for hilarity, why not discard utility to play fat late game? Collective Restraint is for Propaganda-esque purposes. Deterrents are finally showing up in trade binders, so I'm trading for it. Diabolic Tutor was removed, who knows why. It'll probably get readded. I might go superheavy counterspells soon, and try to find tuck in BUG. I'm sure it exists. This continues to be a fun deck to play, and Heartwood is a fan favorite in my playgroups. It also lets me draw tons of cards and keeps heat off of Rhystic Study. I feel the carddraw right now is at a critical level.....
With Sky Swallower, I would have a total of 1 Hexproof/Shrouded creature. Maybe something more like Asceticism+ that is needed? I'm not particularly fond of relying on an enchantment for 1 reanimation spell...

well in EDH; Multiplayer Especially the big flashy counterspells that do extra things like Drawing you cards, untapping lands and stuff are generally better; overall. And flexible stuff like Voidslime and Stifle are pretty good for screwing people over now and again.
And I'd definitely run Asceticism in this build (and I plan to in my Mimeoplasm multiplayer build); and really any green build where the commander is particularly great.
Grave Pact seems just so-so here. The x3 blacks in the cost and the fact that BUG doesn't run a whole lot of creatures reduces it's value a bit. If you wanted to utilize an attrition strategy along with Butcher of Malakir, I would recommend Awakening Zone with perhaps Perplex to tutor it up. Another great cmc 3 card that would help you get some more draw going is Phyrexian Arena.
Speaking of draw, you need more of it. Recurring Insight is incredible in this format.

Also, if you want infect (personally, I don't), Blighted Agent or Skithyrix, the Blight Dragon can set up some OH/2HKOs.

I think a good budget body for The Mimeoplasm is Thalakos Scout. Because your general still deals general damage even after oozing up some guys, shadow is always a plus. And the choose and discard a card to return him to your hand is just a very relevant evasion ability.
If he is about to get hit, discard a cool new creature, return your 'Plasm, and replay to get that new card.
Also, in my deck, I've found Stronghold Rats is very useful for collective discarding, and for relative unblockability.
Second Nether Traitor. I Bury Alive'd a nether traitor and a lord of extinction for a one turn kill on my only surviving opponent who had tapped out the turn before for a damnation into Sygg, River cutthroat and some 3 damage hasty creature.
Also, Tolarian Winds can get 3-4 creatures into your GY on turn 2 pretty consistently, and draw you up all the cards you lost. It's awesome for cards like Brawn, Wonder, and Genesis or even Golgari Thug. And it's dirt cheap, I got mine on MODO foiled for like 0.01 credit. Gotta love that Dredge!
Nether Traitor may actually be the solution I need currently, as I've wanted to slowly wittle down my CMC to something more manageable. I like Tolarian Winds in a more Aggro Oriented deck, but I've built this to be a "control" dekc. It certainly is a card for thought if I ever move to a more Voltron/Combo deck idea, as it would allow me to cycle through for pieces faster.

I think you could use some more Rattle-snake style spells;
No Mercy
Koskun Falls
Propaganda
they will keep you from being attacked until you can set up a very lethal Ooze.
Genesis + Survival of the Fittest
is another fuel combo i'd suggest.
Nix counterspell for a Voidslime
Makeshift Mannequin is a particularly good reanimation spell; especially for the really good Mimeoplasm cards (i.e. ones that have shroud/hexproof)

For example; I'd definitely run Desertion
You could also try Kodama of the North Tree and Silhana Ledgewalker and Troll Ascetic for more good Mimeoplasm food.
And I'd definitely run Asceticism in this build (and I plan to in my Mimeoplasm multiplayer build); and really any green build where the commander is particularly great.

Lastly, your mana-fixing looks sorta weakish. I've always found the Vivid lands to be pretty useful. Yavimaya Coast, Secluded Glen, Frost Marsh, Salt Marsh, and Gilt-Leaf Palace are all budget options too.
