Intro:
This is my unique approach to Sigarda, Host of Herons. She is my general for my token deck. Now you may be like, whaaaaa?? Sigarda isn't a token general! Well, true, but I'm personally really dissatisfied with Rhys the Redeemed. He does too little, and is way too fragile. I always play games where he hardly makes efficient amounts of tokens, and usually never gets a chance to double. I've thought of splashing black or red, but I wanted to keep it in G/W. Tolsimir Wolfblood crossed my mind as the general, but Sigarda is much more attractive to me. She is a recurable 5/5 for 5 mana that cannot be touched. She has evasion, and stops Grave Pact and other black menaces. My plan for this deck is to ramp early, then drop big threats and token makers. Soon, I'll have a horde of tokens to be abused by various pumps and anthem effects. Sigarda comes out as a evasive beater or blocker. What do you guys think? Any constructed help would be appreciated, this is planning on being my first big EDH deck
Flavor:
The Guardians is a band of heroes and soldiers. Their mission: to protect the just and slay the guilty. Wrong or right is not the way of these valiant warriors. They protect the meek, the sick, and the innocent. The members of the Guardians are scattered across the Multiverse, serving their native planes, as well as joining forces to snuff out the evil of the Multiverse. They are selfless, brave, strong, and willing to do anything for their cause. They are allied with the soldiers of New Argive, the druids of Krosa, the knights of The Realiquary and New Bant, the cathars of the Church of Avacyn, and finally, the Selesnya Conclave. These powerful forces join together to build an unstoppable army.
At the head of the army is the mighty angel Sigarda. Host of Avacyn, she is the leader of the Flight of Herons. In charge of birth and prosperity, their magic wards humans against evil while they are alive. Sigarda wished to continue her protection outside of her home plane. With Avacyn's blessing, she began to recruit a group of warriors to further her cause. Today, she is allied with commanders and planeswalkers alike, to protect the ones in need. No matter the cost.
Game Plan:
Spend the early game getting any number of tokens out. Bring the heat early, because it's only going to get worse. Build up your army steadily. The deck is designed to recover from board wipes quickly and efficiently. Overrun with tokens. If swarm doesn't work, then bring Sigarda and pump her up to beat face. She is untouchable and can turn into a turn two clock turn. Bring the righteousness to your opponent's front door. Leave no survivors. Show no mercy.
Any advice? Comments? Any help with this deck can help. Thanks everyone! (:
I have a Rhys deck and echo your concerns. The deck seemed to win just fine without Rhys the other day thank you very much. So maybe Rhys should be just another token producer in the deck. If I get a Sigarda I might try it.
Edit: you listed Skullclamp twice but put a 5 in front of one. I think you mean Batterskull.

Well for now, you can run Tolsimir. His liege ability is very good. Rhys is awesome, but he's just not cut out for leader material. Thanks for the support! And that was actually skullmulcher thanks though! I didn't catch that!

Lol don't have a Tolsimir either but you're right he'd be much easier to get. As far as the skullmuncher of course he'd be in there I didn't look in the creatures.
As I type this and think about it I want Tolsimir; this is a good night for magic at the store I go to maybe I should be able to scrounge one up.
You want Gaddock Teeg in here, trust me. Make sure you have enough ways to tutor for him. If you can protect him somehow, he makes Sigarda really tough to stop.

I am not too hot about her. She is good, but just wouldn't fit in my deck. She would do good in Ghave though
