Why Azusa? I don't play green much (Scion is my only deck with green, being a 5 color general), so that left me with a lot of amazing green fatty beats laying around doing nothing. Why waste such a thing? So I am still piecing this deck together as I acquire the cards. It's coming along nicely, I am hoping to have some resemblance of this deck to play test this weekend. But any suggestions would be appreciated!
As you can see, fairly straightforward strategy... Produce lots of mana, drop beats, win game. Helix Pinnacle is really my only alternate win condition.
Azusa is (Currently) my oldest deck still running, and besides my Kaalia, the most feared one I have. You have the general idea and staples for Azusa down.
I don't know your opinions on combos, but if you can get in an Aluren, Cloudstone Curio, and some sort of ETB draw card, such as Carven Caryatid or Wall of Blossoms, and no one has answers, you've got the game. Pretty much what you'll do is flip your deck into your hand, every time Azusa hits play, you can play two more lands. Play every land in your deck, assuredly play everything else. If you look at the cards, the combo is pretty straight forward.
That is an awesome combo, but having 3 pieces to it, and really only a way to search for one of them, seems like it would be rather rare for me to come across Aluren and Curio in the same game. And they seem rather underwhelming without each other... Or am I missing something?
Fetchlands are an interesting idea, I'll keep an eye on when they'd be useful when I play test this weekend. As for Top and Library, if I ever get extras, they will surely find a place in this deck

Hall of Gemstones is loved in this deck.
