This is my first time posting here... so I'm quite nervous and excited at the same time, to receive comments for my deck.
Anyway, the overall theme/playstyle that i had in mind when I created this deck is very simple - My commander will be the one swinging, and I will have the ability to basically, choose what she will be striking with, a sword that mills the opponent's deck?, a sword which produces a token?, or a sword that untaps my lands?, or even a sword which can take out a permanent on the opponent's side. Sigarda will be the main actress, and my other creatures will be on the supporting role
As you can see, the main strategy of this deck is to basically equip Sigarda with auras/artifacts to boost her and then swing for huge chunks of damage (Plus extra effects of course). Most of the time, this deck wins with the 21 commander damage rule rather than taking out the entire 40.
Cards that I normally switch to depending on my opponents:
I would switch out Sword of Body and Mind with Rancor... I learned my lesson a long time ago... Hit a couple of players and send cards into the graveyard only to see reanimate next turn and then someone has a huge blocker...
Jitte is awesome with Sigarda... Able to take out small utility creatures and power up Sigarda and Batterskull is decent especially if you have Stoneforge Mystic to help with casting it...

Hi,
Thank you for the suggestion
I use Rancor a lot of the time too (well it used to be a mainstay). Since it goes back to my hand if Sigarda goes down, and the trample effect is a nice addition. Fortunately we only have two re-animator decks in our circle, but mean ones i must say (a Scion of the Ur-Dragon and a Sedris, the Traitor King) I haven't fought with them in a while.. but now i'll probably have to remove that sword whenever I do.
Oh and ok, I'll get the Jitte and Batterskull then
BTW, do you think I need more ramp? I feel like I should reduce my lands to 35 and just bring in a couple of fetch lands Wood Elves or probably a mana producting artifact like Tigereye Cameo
Hey, welcome to the boards! Just read as much as you can and playtest some of your ideas on Cockatrice and you'll improve your game rapidly.
So...whenever I see a deck with GW, the first thing I look for is Captain Sisay. She gives you a tutor AND a draw in one every turn, only costs 4, and can be found using green's creature tutors. She is an amazing toolbox and one of the strongest cards in the format, IMO. Here are some of the best things you can get with her:
As long as you're using Conscription, I should mention Auratouched Mage. 5W for a 13/13 Trample Annihilator 2 is an amazing deal, and if it is killed in response, you can keep whatever you searched for and put it on Sigarda instead! If you plan on going this route, I recommend having one more hard-hitting enchantment as a backup. Shape of the Witigo seems pretty nice since you keep the counters even if it's destroyed. A 9/9 that grows +1/+1 a turn for 5W is still a good deal, plus Sigarda obviously loves it.
You should definitely run a decent amount of cheap, flexible, and preferably instant-speed removal to deal with early threats. Here are some of the best:
In fact, if you have the energy, you should check out all of the links in my signature. Even if they're not green or white, they'll give you some ideas of what kinds of problems you'll have to be able to deal with.

Hi,
Thank you so much for your feedback!
I'll go look for those cards as soon as I can
Fortunately I know someone who has a Captain Sisay so that one's taken care of.
Thankfully, I have Totem-Guide Hartebeest and Auratouched Mage in my pile. I have already placed them in the deck (reduced my lands to 35), and so far from my playtests, mana flow is still smooth.. and its working quite well!
Now, I just need to find some of those removal cards

Keep in mind that Kamahl can animate your opponent's lands in response to a board wipe to punish them. Also, Kamahl + Elesh Norn lets you machine gun down lands and also makes your guys HUGE. They're a great duo to grab with Sisay when you're ready to end the game.

Okina, Temple to the Grandfathers
Flagstones of Trokair
Eiganjo Castle
Kor Haven
Yavimaya Hollow
Gaea's Cradle
Akroma's Memorial
Umezawa's Jitte
Tatsumasa, the Dragon's Fang
Gaddock Teeg
Saffi Eriksdottir
Linvala, Keeper of Silence
Elesh Norn, Grand Cenobite
Vorinclex, Voice of Hunger
Trostani, Selesnya's Voice
Avacyn, Angel of Hope
Another useful toolbox card is Totem-Guide Hartebeest. It can also be tutored for easily and can find you pump and removal such as Eldrazi Conscription and Faith's Fetters. On top of that, it's also a good blocker.
As long as you're using Conscription, I should mention Auratouched Mage. 5W for a 13/13 Trample Annihilator 2 is an amazing deal, and if it is killed in response, you can keep whatever you searched for and put it on Sigarda instead! If you want to run Naturalize, I'd change it for Deglamer, which allows you to tuck things and deal with indestructibles like Darksteel Plate and Blightsteel Colossus.
You should definitely run a decent amount of cheap, flexible, and preferably instant-speed removal to deal with early threats. Here are some of the best:
Swords to Plowshares
Path to Exile
Nature's Claim
Lignify
Selesnya Charm
Beast Within
Krosan Grip
Crib Swap
Oblivion Ring
Arrest
Prison Term
Dust to Dust
Return to Dust
Eternal Witness is just amazing and is considered by many to be one of the best creatures, if not the best creature, in the format. Try to get one.
You should find a Cultivate to go with that Kodama's Reach. Krosan Tusker isn't bad, either.
Unquestioned Authority is another Spirit Mantle and doesn't cost you a card.
Many people consider Austere Command to be the best board wipe in the format. You should try to get one.
Check out this article I wrote. It's for mono white, but a lot of the same advice can apply to Selesnya: http://forums.mtgsalvation.com/showthread.php?t=429609

No problem! I'm glad to help!
If you can't find a Shape of the Wiitigo, you can always use a Wurmweaver Coil or Mythic Proportions instead.
Some other great legends to fetch with Captain Sisay are Michiko Konda, Truth Seeker, Iona, Shield of Emeria, and Kamahl, Fist of Krosa.
Keep in mind that Kamahl can animate your opponent's lands in response to a board wipe to punish them. Also, Kamahl + Elesh Norn lets you machine gun down lands and also makes your guys HUGE. They're a great duo to grab with Sisay when you're ready to end the game.
