I've never seen Retether, need to pick one up lol. Replenish also falls under the "budget is pushed, might not be affordable"section. I know, I'm being a PITA.

GOTCHA. Nope, I meant that post seriously but missed the budget part...and at first how you wanted to cut cards.

Does Primal Rage help that much? You don't have a ton of creatures. Do you plan on relying mostly on Sigil for critters? Would something like Sacred Mesa help?

I don't know where to go with the Enchantress idea, but I want to build something using those engines. I'm kinda waiting for the Planechase deck to drop before I go Raka, Selesnya, or Bant.

Actually, Primal Rage and to a lesser extent Serra's Blessing now seem like throw ins, 'cause I've had them forever. Out they go, 3 cuts needed.

I've wanted to build something with the engine for a while, too. I saw your recent post about how you hate checking other people's lists, so I'm hesitant to say this, but...

If it agrees with you, check out Weebo's Jasmine Boreal list. His is definitely not budget, features solid cards and strategies, and it'll let you know what cards in the engine you want to run.

And I was talking about how sarcastic my post might have sounded. It leaks out of my mouth so often...lol.

Two more things: The Expedition is in your sorceries section. Even though they're great, do you cut the ramp sorceries for more land enchantments that produce more mana...or add Endless Horizons? Just more thoughts. I'll look at Weebo's list.

Khalni Heart Expedition doesnt impress me. I know it fits the enchantment theme you had going on but it goes off so stupidly slow that I really wouldnt bother using it. If you need the ramp then shift it to something else.

Leyline of Sanctity is really hit and miss in my mind. It can be really good and it can be very very dull.

Aura Shards not enough creatures in your list to run this. You need to be playing creatures rather regularly and I dont think this is the deck for this.

Curse of Exhaustion it is hard to gauge how useful this is overall... My issue is that I don't really see something in the deck that this seems to work with.

Lush Growth fix without ramp is usually bad. I don't get the feeling that this will meet standards.

Birds of Paradise I usually find mana critters a bit underwhelming in a normal commander deck. These get swept up in sweepers and make it hard to recover sometimes.

Thran Golem on theme however I don't feel like it is a bit underwhelming as a creature. Baneslayer Angel feels like it would be as productive or more so.

Ah, I see. I'll justify Kaalia in that I love angels and dragons, and she lets me run a decent deck with both tribes. Both of my previous attempts at decks with one tribe sucked.

Whoops, moved KHE. Hmm, I'm not really sure where the ramp is going. A lot of the good ones like Mana Reflection are expensive, for one, and I'd rather pick up some of them for my Kaysa deck first. Hmm.

Lush, Birds - I only have the two Sol Rings I got from the precons...But with Birds, I don't see a whole lot of wrathing, 'cause no one seems to really have the cards.

Golem - ...I have the feeling you worded that wrong. Is the golem underwhelming or not?...And I only have the one BSA in Kaalia, and she's still like $6 or something.

Sorry.... the golem sucks... cut it is what I was trying to say. When it isn't enchanted it REALLLLLY sucks. When it is enchanted it just becomes sort of mediocre. I feel like that just overall makes it sort of so so.

As for the curse... it only hits one opponent and even then it is really situational. I would love to play it on an Edric player but most people dont really have an issue playing around it. I just dont feel like it packs enough punch considering it only effects a single opponent.

Dropping the Golem, Expedition and Shards for now. I figure the rest of it can at least stay while this is being built and tested, optimized, etc. Thanks for the input ISB, my decks usually don't get so much attention so quickly.

If the only thing that can get rid of her is wrath effects, why not look into the Umbras or at least an Umbra Mystic?

Umbra Mystic already has a spot in the deck, and I have Snake Umbra planned as well. I have a Bear Umbra too, I just quickly built it to have something to refer to.

Might I recommend High Market? The only ways to make her go boom is, as said, wraths and hallowed burial. Except a lot of people play hallowed burial. High Market gives us a reliable sac outlet.

I've played against the Ascension, it took a while for it to go online. /shrug. Considering everything in the deck is gonna be cheap enough, I'm just not sure what I would need all that mana for. /shrug.

If commitement to green starts to be too heavy and flavor is more important, please consider to use Jenara, Asura of War as general.
- You can still use Sigarda in the deck but additionally you can also use Bruna, Light of Alabaster; so utility/lifespam of all auras you want to use gets multiplied.
- More support for Aura themes: Blue has some cards that cares about auras. Some in the common/uncommon slot (Totem Armor auras or Simic Guildmage). Other in the rare one, like Sovereigns of Lost Alara

I'm not against the deck being half/half :symgw:, or skewed either way, I was just saying I'm not sure where its gonna end up.

I hate Jenara's face lol. I don't really like Bruna either, she's much more combo-ish, which I just don't seem to play. /shrug.

I've got a very similar deck brewing so I'll just post my thoughts here.

Not sure about the Vows in this deck (aside from Vow of Wildness for its trample). I don't find them particularly useful as there are far better buffs and soft removal available in these colours.

The way I see it, getting her indestructible is probably priority number one so I threw in all the green and white Umbras. Priority number two is making her unblockable. That means Spirit Mantle, Unquestioned Authority, Kithkin Armor, Trailblazer's Boots.

Indestructible general? Inquisitor's Flail. Worldslayer.

Not sure about Keen Sense. The card draw is nice but with a mere +2 to Sigarda means the game is over in 3 hits. I think that slot could be put to better use. Especially with the enchantresses providing good draw.

I'm loving the control aspect of this deck. Martyr's Bond and Stony Silence shut down (or at least seriously hinder) a lot of decks. Since you don't have to worry about edicts there's little points in flooding the field with tokens for fodder with things like Pollenbright Wings. Furthermore, you're going for relatively fast games here. Ward of Bones can ruin a lot of decks, especially when you'll likely only have Sigarda and maybe a mana producing creature or two on the board. Even Dosan the Falling Leaf provides some nice lockdown. Even if he's a double edged sword, you can close out a game you otherwise couldn't have when you cast him at the right time.

What's the point of Angelic Destiny? In Sigarda's case, all it gives her is +4/+4 and FS. +4/+4 is pretty easy to come by in green (at a much lower cost) and first strike isn't exactly a game changer. I know that it comes returns to your hand in case Sigarda is somehow killed but a) totem armor/indestructibility should always be on her and b) there are quite a few ways to get your auras back.

Praetor's Counsel has served me well, especially when you have a lot of card draw. After that resolves, a Hunter's Insight or a Soul's Majesty has left me holding a big chunk of my deck and an answer for everything that gets thrown at me.

Not sure about your meta, but mine has a lot of creatures. Everywhere. All the bloody time. Arrest, Faith's Fetters, Pacifism all deserve slots if you suffer from the same meta issue.

I've sometimes found that I just need to add raw strength to her. She's simply not tough enough at some points. Things like Increasing Savagery, Mythic Proportions, Epic Proportions and the like might deserve some attention. Hell, Untamed Might is one of my favourite cards in green thanks to ramp although I doubt it'll get a slot.

Spirit Mantle is on my list of stuff to get in the deck already, and I think I have das boots somewhere. Unq. Authority might have to go in too...I hate kithkin, so no armor. I like the Flail, that might go in, but I just plain don't like Worldslayer. /shrug.

There's a point for Destiny, IMO. 4 mana for +4/+4 isn't awful, off the top of my head. I like how the deck ATM is 6 mana or less, so some of those options might be out.

I'm 99% sure that Stony Silence does not shut down Ward of Bones. While it stops you from equipping Sigarda, there's little equipment here to begin with. I keep a few in my deck even with Stony Silence around. If he hits the board and I draw the Flail, oh well. I have many other buffs and chances are SS is hurting my opponents more than me.

Since you already own Destiny you may as well keep it there, although I'd probably go ahead and sell it to fund a lot of this deck.

I thought my idea had a lot of "you can't kill me" in it but wow. Gotta merge the three.

Just a quick comment, you can run seal of primordium as a sudo naturalize. Also, the original seal of cleansing. It works well.

Also, Yavimaya Enchantress for the beatdown?

Both seals were covered at some point or another, will have to pick up some copies.

Meh. A vanilla 3 mana 2/2 that might be a touch bigger isn't very good. At least Thran Golem is an ok-sized body with a much better buff. (not saying to run TG, just an example)
