My first time posting my deck up in this place. This is a semi-competitive but also a bit of fun deck (for me!). It was a combination of my three favourite decks when i was a teenager, that is, Kai Buddies Urza's saga wildfire deck, my vintage nether void deck (yes i played vintage as a teenager), and my multiplayer black/white draw + kill all lands deck.
The deck is RWB, and uses artifacts to power out early land disruption and keep a stable position while i win with my planeswalkers, or an unopposed commander.
This deck is not to be used in a casual heavy metagame, as it can really degenerate gamestates against unprepared players. This deck is very useful in a heavy combo or counterspell metagame. The benefits of playing a land destruction deck to your metagame is it forces players to reconsider how they build their decks. This deck is a healthy counter to high mana decks that either combo out or just tooth and nail. Meanwhile, it allows decks that lay down dudes fast to shine, giving aggro a bit of space to function. Also, it helps playing against people who can recognize when a game is lost, and not drag the **** out when they have no lands.
Now, this deck is quite over the top, and if unchecked, will quickly annihilate most multi-player games. Make sure your group packs answers, and is willing to be blown up a lot. With this deck, I have also attempted to not combo. Only one soft-lock exists, which is proliferate and Myojin of Infinite Rage. But that takes until turn 7 or 8 to get online, if I am lucky. I don't use ashnod to combo, either, just for a quick ramp through a token sac. Might drop it all together for something more reliable, however.
This deck is also easily tuned into a planeswalker-proliferate deck, that uses attrition style cards to muck up the board. Much more fun for a casual meta (just use the planeswalker and proliferate shell, drop the land D, and bring in fun token pump). You can also drop red all together if you go this route.
Please make suggestions for the best cards possible!
So, here is the list - Sorted into card types and by mana cost:
Its not a deck I normally run. Its just the cards that have been most iconic to me over the years, and a mode of play I have always enjoyed (land destruction). When I do play this deck, I try to go easy, and just focus on my token creation.
For more casual and fun times, i have a mimeoplasm mill deck, a zedruu deck, and then for 1v1, i run Azami. Currently I am putting together a Captain Sissay deck.
The list is quite interesting. I am working on a Tariel list for 1v1 control oriented. I used to play Kaalia control, but the banning of Griselbrand has been too painful to bear (i played only him and Iona as kaalia's fatties). Tariel is not a strong commander i know, especially for 1v1, but her artwork's so cool that i want to give it a shot.. I will post a list and would appreciate some comments when it's done!
Thanks!
Sure thing.
I have tried a french ban list of this deck.
Some tips:
Bring the CMC way, waaaaayyyy down.
Don't rely so much on tutors.
Include more single shot removal. Vindicate is a good start =).
I used all that proliferate stuff for a while. It's pure fun, but totally not effective =P. It was a blast for casual, and gave my deck a bit of flair, but with the amount of awesome cards printed lately, just not place for it.

He probably plays with a group of people who don't whine about deck types that don't utilize craw wurms. It's crazy.
And yes, many people don't whine about the deck. They just run more counters and artifact/enchantment kill than before.
