Props if you get the deck name's reference. The focus of this deck is basically Mono Black Control and then beat face with one or more finishers, ideally Sheoldred herself. There are no real instant win or infinite combos here, as I'm not a fan of them. The only thing that might be considered a combo is Death Cloud for a large amount, float mana, then cast Sheoldred on an empty board. Other than that, the deck is basically packed with threats, answers, and tutors. Suggestions are welcome, and let me know if there is anything blatantly obvious that I am forgetting. I know there are some good cards that I'm not running, but the list is pretty tight and I've had to make a few hard choices in cutting things. But if you see something I really should be running, then definitely suggest it and I will at the very least consider it.
I've also created a "sideboard" intended to transform the deck for 1v1 play and simultaneously remove all cards that have been banned in that format. What each sideboard card goes in for is based roughly on mana cost, not function, since the function changes drastically with the format. I might also switch up the general for another, cheaper legendary creature in 1v1 play, but that's a whole other discussion. If you have suggestions for my 1v1 sideboard, feel free to post them as well.
I run all the Liliana versions here, because although Liliana 1.0 is the most popular, I think they all have their uses and are good enough to include. Plus, running as many planeswalkers as I can in a deck that is pretty much geared towards keeping creatures off the board seems like a good plan, although I might find out differently. Sorin and Karn I shouldn't have to explain. Dark Confidant is there because I have a relatively low curve for an EDH deck, I think, and I do have ways of controlling what card is revealed with him, such as Divining Top, Scroll Rack, V-Tutor, Liliana 1.0, and Volrath's Stronghold. And if he does start hurting me too much, I have numerous ways to sac him. Greaves and Boots are for protection and giving haste to Sheoldred or whatever needs protection and/or haste. Sheoldred isn't absolutely necessary for the deck to win, but she is pretty damn good if she can stick around, and thus worth protecting. I think all the rest of my choices are pretty self-explanatory, but if you see something that doesn't seem right then definitely post it.
