Don't know what I'm doing wrong but it seems like I'm missing something along the lines. Against two of the slap-up decks I've made it just under performs in terms of aggression and speed, and 3/5 times ends up dead before I can even get a combo out. Maybe some suggestions and discussion to help me figure this out?
I ran a Sliver Queen list for a while (started with the Overlord, but didn't want every game to be the same). It was really hit or miss, even when I did run the Overlord, so I dismantled it. I think I probably hobbled the consistency of the deck by not tuning it to the Overlord, but whatever. I'd be interested to see how this fares in the future, as you are running a few (Sliver Legion, Vampiric Sliver specifically) that I wasn't.
Are you running into mana fixing issues at all? You are running a number of lands (Slayers' Stronghold and kin) that need colored mana, but don't provide it. If you are, there was a semi-recent topic about budget 5-color here. I posted my approach.. never had any problems hitting all 5 colors by turn 5 or 6.
Shard Convergence seems like it is worth considering. It's not ramp, but it's great card advantage and mana fixing.. though you'll need to look at how many basics you're running.. Worth testing I suppose. I've even seen lists use things like Springleaf Drum and stuff like Chromatic Star to get some great fixed starts and be aggressive right away too..
Additionally, any what is Krark-Clan Ironworks doing for your deck? Am I missing something? And the Gilded Lotus is for artifact ramp, or are you using it for fixing?
I have the ironworks in the deck to work with sliver queen and Sword of the Meek.
Sliver queen, sac Sword to Krark, 2 manaless mana = Sliver token, sword comes back, sac again, rinse repeat.
It's an attempt at making a sliver-queen infinity combo when the game gets a bit late.
Also, yes, I seem to run into mana problems a few times and I've replaced a few cards for some recent dual lands. I'll take a look at the budget 5-color fixing link you posted, thanks!
I found Harmonic's Removal to be able to clear much of the board nicely.... at least from artifacts and enchantments. Creature removal was a problem for my deck.. since I wanted to swarm, I wanted to avoid wrath effects, but evasion was always seemed more important than pinpoint creatures removal... since I ended up dismantling my Sliver EDH deck, I can't say whether that approach was good or not.
The other problem I had was finding a consistent source of draw. It took me forever to recover from a wrath effect.. and without Synapse Sliver or Dormant sliver or a way to easily recur them, I was dead in the water for 4-5 turns after each wrath (my meta tends to play really long games, and not kill off weaker players/decks).

Lastly, Darksteel Ingot deserves consideration, since you're running Harmonic Sliver.
