I'm building a esper pillow fort stax deck and I've gotten the list down to 118 cards. What should I cut? Is there anything that I've missed that is completely vital?
I would cut Dissipation Field. All you do is entice enemies to go to red zone so they can abuse their ETB abilities.
Cut a land or 2. You have enough mana rocks to justify lower land counts. I run 33 lands in my Sharuum LD.Ramp deck due to the massive number of mana rocks.

Hey, thanks for the reply.
I was thinking Catastrophe over Death Cloud as it can be a wrath when I need one and I can play it after I have a win condition, speaking of which I don't have as many since I cut down from 140 cards, maybe I should add Sun Titan again...
Good point about the Dissipation Field, l'll cut it, and the lands, since I'm running like 10 mana rocks and Crucible of Worlds I guess I can go down to 36.
Does any one have any suggestions for good Stax win cons?
You win by beating with 1/1s with a sword generally.
Ah, so I need to add swords then? I'm guessing Sword of Feast and Famine for the untapping lands and Sword of Light and Shadow as lifegain = pillowfort and returning the creatures I sacrifice to my hand is also useful?
Any suggestions on what to cut? I'm at 115 cards now.
You have too much stax and lock down, and not enough fort. Check out the list in my sig (it's old and I need to update it after more testing). My theory on pillow fort stax, and so far testing has proven.
-who needs removal. Counters take care of stuff that will disrupt/harm you. And your deck should not care if someone is thinking of attacking you. You're making it so difficult to do so, it's rarely going to happen.
-mass wipes don't do much since you're also clearing out your own stuff. That means you also have to run a recursion package, which is easily set on fire by a yard hoser.
-no big creatures unless they're part of your fort. Storm tide leviathan is the only fatty I find good here since he stops ground attacks and gets in for free.
-where's your man lands? I see Mutavault, but no creeping tar pit (free hits).
-where's your swords. They will get you there. Feast and famine, war and peace, and for and ice should be here.

Have you considered dread fits your theme and has a nice shuffle effect. Leyline of sanctity is a solid card but seems sub par to some of the others in your deck.

Hey, thanks for the input, I had a look through your list and added a few things.
I have a few questions though, how can we cast Avacyn, Angel of Hope and Stromtide Levithan with the constant sacing? Just when we have enough mana rocks out there? Or?
Also, how to deal with Sigarda, Host of Herons without a board wipe (other than countering it)?
What do you think I should cut from the current list? Is there anything that I'm not running that I need to put in there?

Dread does seem quite good, I'll consider it for sure.
Really? I thought Leyline of Sancitity is awesome, Solitary Confinement is obviously a lot better but this seemed like a good alternative.
