Well my very first EDH deck ever was Zur. It was super low budget and I liked it but ended up scrapping the build because it was boring... So in an effort to do something with him that no one else had I decided hey what do people hate besides zur??? Poison! and Zur the Infector was born! So I would like to fine tune this into a killing machine but I don't have a lot of experience with poison so if anyone wants to chime in and help me make this really nasty I would appreciate it!
The Goal
The aim is simple drop creatures with infect and give them ways to hit hard and fast either cold cast or even better for free with the commander, hopefully dropping the biggest threat on the table before he gets scary. A couple of cards I've had make all star performances so far are Unspeakable Symbol, Hatred, Surestrike Trident, and any creature with evasion especially Blighted Agent!
Wouldn't the goal be getting Phyresis on Zur? I guess what I'm asking is, do the other infect dudes really matter?
I get what you are saying but think about it this way, if I drop Phyresis on him then i'm wasting an entire turn giving him infect when I could get a pumping enchantment on a creature that already has infect and hit for more poison, also if something else is more immediately dangerous than my general he just might avoid spot removal, allowing for more shenanigans. That enchantment is more there for when I don't have anything else with infect out.
People hate Zur? O.o I love seeing him, it's almost always a free win.
I feel like this deck is just weak when you can compare to a true infect deck or something with Rafiq. Are you going for power, or just a reason to play Zur?

I guess a little of both... And it is a true infect deck, i'm not really sure what you mean? If you are wondering about power level, think of all the enchantments I can tutor for free that either make my infect creatures bigger our basically unblockable... I mean Unspeakable Symbol alone makes it worth it... If you don't like the deck concept i'm not really interested in your trolling if you can help me make it better then I would love your input. Not everyone wants to build a deck that has already been done by hundreds of people.
