It's basically a Mono-Black Combo deck. Try to ramp up to 6 mana. Then once the Death Aspect drops, then use one of the mass reanimate spells (of which i need to get a couple more, like Patriarch's Bidding and Living Death) or just Mortal Kombat to finish off the game. I am looking to find better spirits then a few of the ones in there, so ideas are welcome.
As regards to how it works. It works insanely well. It has only lost when it only drew 3 lands or so. I think he is one of the best Commanders out there.
Devouring Greed seems like it would be good in this deck; sac your spirits, kill someone in the game, then play your resurrection spell, or do it the other way round.

Thats a good idea. I didnt think about that card. because i just started playing again at Ravnica, so i didnt know much of the Kamigawa cards. When i started playing this format i just threw Legendary Creature into the gatherer and tried to come up with a good commander. Then once i found Iname, i just tried to get as many spirits from there, then weed out the bad ones.
I would highly reccommend Balthor the Defield for another reanimate effect. I dont really like mortal combat unless you are playing duels, because it just puts a big "kill me" target on your head.
No! I was hoping nobody caught that he was missing so I could say it!
Otherwise, when I usually see/face Iname decks they are less about playing every black spirit creature that you come across, rather just playing the efficient/good ones. Lets face it, most of the spirits you play suck, I mean Viscid Lemures and Street Wraith? I would make the deck lean and mean, play all the accel (Coldsteel HeartHead of Ramos etc, etc) and tutoring (your missing Vampiric Tutor and if this isn't RL then Imperial Seal) that you can grab.
Only other cards that may need adding is single reanimation spells like Dread Return, but it is your call if you think they are needed.
In the end, instead of making the deck win by just getting a ton of creatures out, I would make it more resilient by running only the spirits that you really need to change the game then win a little slower, but still, control the game and play spells to make that happen consistantly.
I know this is a major Necrobump but I have to point out that Molten Slagheap doesn't fit the General's color requirement, since it does have R on it. I don't think there's a whole ton of new juicy cards that adds to the power of the deck, just a couple of new spirits that can replace some of the crappy ones being uses to fulfill the Mortal Combat's 20 trigger.

I'd slide out Seizan for Kuro, Pitlord, it makes Horobi, Death's Wail a vicious boardsweep when you mass-reanimate.
Sir, i think you are wrong on the idea to play him. Iname is more for hitting a Mass Reanimate spell and would make Revenant really useless.
Pit Lord is a great idea though.
Two is good. But how about three?
:symg::symu: Momir Vig, Simic Visionary
Drana, Kalastria Bloodchief
3 is good but what about a fourth: deserted temple

Other just good black cards include:
Decree of Pain
Alter of Shadows
Since your running snow Mouth of Ronom
Grim Harvest
I would take out Mortal Combat its spelled with a 'C' btw.
You can also add good non-spirit creatures like Herald of Leshrac
Soul Spike (free removal)
Void Maw
cards that reduce all your spells mana cost is also really nice like
Urza's Incubator
or Jet Medallion
Also, make sure you have all the draw cards you can find
Phyrexian Etchings
Phyrexian Areana
Bob-He really depends if you have some sort of topping effect out to be good.
Ancient Craving
Sign in Blood
Ill list Decree of Pain again...
Dusk Urchins
Graveborn Muse
Greed
Minion's Murmurs
Necropotence <--Required in any black deck
Overwhelming Forces is better then plague wind.
Promise of Power
Seizan, Perverter of Truth <--You may already have him, to lazy to look.

And as suggested, graveborn muse is also a great spirit. Just check out //gatherer.wizards.com/Pages/Search/Default.aspx?action=advanced&color=+@(+[B">)&subtype=+[%22Spirit%22]"]this list for all black spirits.
