So this is my Thada Adel deck that I'm building. Pretty obvious theme, I want to steal and exploit my opponents' things. Only hard and fast rule is that I don't want to run any counterspells that don't steal things. Not sure if Duplicant is worth a slot as spot removal or not. Would appreciate any suggestions.
You are the perfect person to have a look at my awesome Thada deck. Open up my sig and click the link to her. She's based on the premesis that you play with your opponents decks. I hope it gives you some good ideas.
I don't run Acquire in my Thada Adel deck, since she's basically Acquire on a stick (yes, you do have to pay for the artifacts you steal, but Acquire costs 5 mana, so...).
Dominating Licid, from my experiences, is fragile and gets killed before you get to use his ability, unless you have a way to give him haste.
I noticed you run Thran Dynamo. While normally an amazing card, it's not that great in a Thada Adel deck, since ideally you'd be playing your opponent's artifact ramp. I find that the only artifact ramp worth having for her are things that let you get her into play a turn earlier. You already run Sol Ring, you might want to take a look at Chrome Mox and Mox Diamond. Both are amazing for Thada. Getting her into play on turn 2 will usually win the game for you since you can start ramping a turn sooner.
Thada is so much fun, especially if you have a heavy blue meta like I do, since she destroys most other blue decks. You're already running most of the better cards for making her unblockable against non-blue decks. Vedalken Plotter doubles for getting rid of problem lands like Maze of Ith and Gaea's Cradle. Quicksilver Fountain can deny people mana. You might consider adding in Stormtide Leviathan, since he doubles as a moat and is a good finisher as well!
