I've been looking to build a deck around Brigid, Hero of Kinsbaile for a little while. Her ability may seem a little meh in a format dominated by fat, but imagine if she found one or two ways to gain deathtouch (three ways now!), or even better Exile. Of course, that requires a deck that can search for equipment, at which point it needs more (and better) equipment, as well as more creatures that support an equipment theme. There's also a bit of a soldier sub-theme. Any suggestions are welcomed.
Absolutely love the Angel's Trumpet idea. I'd never seen one before. It lets me attack while keeping Brigid untapped for any blockers, and it threatens to burn them out if they don't attack into her.
The tutor is an obvious include, but I need to get my hands on one first.
I thought there was a creature or enchantment that had an effect similar to angel's trumpet. Name is escaping me, but you might look that one up as well.
Can't believe I forgot Thousand-Year Elixir. I'm cutting Tivadar for Angel's Trumpet - what should I cut for Elixir?
DAMN IT! you beat me to it.... I wanted to suggest Elixir.
I think almost any white deck needs to run condem, stp and pte....
condem can take care of generals for good, and the other two get rid of big scary things, but seeing as your general plans to do that...they get rid of tech things that dont attack.....like kiki jiki...
also run that card that is one white mana and returns an artfact to you hand from the grave?
and I have to say it befor I go....GORGON FLAIL!!!!!

Were you thinking of Bullwhip? Cause I found one in my collection and got to thinking how well it fit this deck - burn small utility creatures that don't attack, or force creatures to suicide attack.
Unfortunately every try hard from Sacramento to Shanghai preaches from the top of their 27 lands + Mana Reflection that Tooth and Nail and Time Stretch are fine to play in the same turn but Armageddon is unfair.
No reason besides the fact it's banned... I guess...
This is true. Some groups have house rules about Karakas not being able to effect generals, similar to the super-legendary house rule. Just throwing that out there.
Also, I realize it's not a game breaker, but Debt of Loyalty could be fun.
Just a couple more cards to consider. Kusari-Gama does not specify combat damage so it can also be brutal with Brigid. A Ghostly Prison is never really an unwelcome addition. If enchantments are big in your area (stupid Zur) Soltari Visionary is a very effective answer. You might also considering some more utility lands to help out such as Mikokoro, Center of the Sea, Kjeldoran Outpost and even Mistveil Plains.

I picked up an Intrepid Hero. It should go really well with the deck - it's a soldier, it destroys creatures whether they attack or not, and equiping him with Thornbite Staff would be hilarious. Plus, EDH is a format rich with 4+ power fat.
Not super good, but maybe Quest for the Holy Relic lets you equip one of your surprise nasty equipments at instant speed.
You can tap with your gen, bust this and then equip a death touch or any of the other nasty suggested equipments before her ability resolves, not giving them as much time to respond.

Kor Duelist? Doublestrike with any decent equipment is deadly, especially if it gives deathtouch.

I'm planning to repost the decklist once I gather together a few more cards. I've already got each of those Zendikar cards plus a couple more. Grappling Hook seems pretty good given that it gives pseudo-provoke, giving Brigid a chance to do her thing. Kor Outfitter could speed things up.
Got it built before I took off on vacation but didn't have time to post. Still looking to get a few different cards and debating others that I already have, but it's a pretty fun deck. I'll update the list in the original post.
I decided not to put in the Kaldra cycle after all because while cool, it didn't actually interact with my General so much. I could always put it in later, but I'm not sure if it's worth it. Thoughts?
Sword of Kaldra should be included...the interaction with your general is too good to pass up.

Definitely some good cards there, but I'm not sure if I need more or not. I have Thousand-Year Elixir and Thornbite Staff already to give me an extra activation. I know that's only two slots out of 100, but I'm not sure if I should dedicate more space to it or not. Elixir also provides pseudo-haste, and the Staff just rocks in this deck - put it on any creature that also has a deathtouch equipment or just stick it on Intrepid Hero.
On the other hand, you're right about Sword of Kaldra, as it could shut down a lot of recursion engines (not to mention beefing my general out of easy burn range). I will probably put it in. Which means making it indestructible would also be good, and then I might as well include the helm, too. In a way, Sword provides a little redundancy because I have Scythe to steal everything my general kills, but that's only one card. And if you can't steal 'em, exile 'em.
Now what do I cut? I need to open three slots. There's one vote for World Quellar. I'd prefer to not lose too many creatures, as I hate having a lot of equipment sitting on a creatureless field. Oblivion Ring, maybe? Anything else?
EDIT: I'm an idiot. You are completely right about Sword of Kaldra! I thought it only exiled the creatures if they would go to the graveyard, but I just re-read it. I knew there was a reason I put it in my original card list. Even just her 2 damage triggers it. Amazing. It's in. Just looking for another card to cut.

The following cards are ones I would look at removing in favor of anything better you can find:
Chastise - Too narrow Heartseeker - Lots of mana for the net effect. Creature needs to not have summoning sickness to use. Viridian Longbow - Only good when combined with another of your equipment, doesn't really make any of your existing creatures any better.
Put in the Kaldra set, pulled out Oblivion Ring, Viridian Longbow, and World Quellar. Updated at top. And still looking for ways to improve the deck. What do you think of adding Gleam of Resistance as a combat trick? I often play multiplayer, and I would like a way to hammer one player without overextending, so I can still handle the next guy.
Out of curiosity, is there a particular reason why you don't put Enlightened Tutor in the deck? It has been suggested by multiple people, but I still don't see it in the master list. It really is a no-brainer in this deck.
Do you only include cards that you physically own? If so, you should really make that clear in the original post.

This is my actual decklist. Every one of these cards is sleeved up in my box of EDH decks. I know that Enlightened Tutor would be great, but I do not yet own one. That isn't to say that people should stop suggesting cards I don't have - I can and have acquired cards that were suggested. But until I get one, it can't go in the list. I could, however, add a wishlist to the decklist to convey cards I would like to add when I get them.

I actually really like this concept. I'd think about adding an Angel's Trumpet to maybe force people to attack with their creatures or take damage.
Currently 62/265 cards.
The tutor is an obvious include, but I need to get my hands on one first.

Martial Coup for 5 followed by a Catapult Master was pretty fun in one game.

Some other card suggestions:
Umbral Mantle would let you get another activation out of Brigid.
As do Magewright's Stone, Puppet Strings, Staff of Domination
Sword of Kaldra should be included...the interaction with your general is too good to pass up.
