Hey all! After a long hiatus I'm back with my first EDH deck! I tried to go somewhat budget with this, and also held back from using some of the more expensive cards that I already own, like Sensei's Divining Top or Wurmcoil Engine. If I remember correctly, none of the cards on this list cost me above $4 or $5. According to deckstats.net this falls right around $70, though I was able to get many of these cards for cheap on account of them being slightly or mildly played.
The deck's strategy is fairly simple: give Oros his bling and swing for 21 general damage. I tried to build around Oros as much as possible since I didn't want to use him just for his colors. Keeping his ability in mind I put in mostly white creatures, with some angel and equipment subthemes going on. There are a lot of ways to bring creatures back from the graveyard, which probably makes using board sweepers easier.
You may notice that Rakdos Carnarium is missing from the trio of Ravnica bouncelands in Oros' colors, but that's less of a design choice and more of me being unable to get a hold of a copy. I have a similar situation with the signets, where I'm just missing the Orzhov Signet.
Armistice is there mainly for multiplayer. More draw can't hurt I guess, especially if it can possibly give me some allies. Of course I'm not too partial to it so I have no qualms with replacing it for something better or more fun.
My biggest concern about this deck is the manabase. Should I be running the signets? But that being said, I'm also open to other suggestions/criticism, especially about synergies that I've overlooked!

Armistice's activation cost just seems too dang expensive. I don't think mono-:symw: even runs it, even though they hurt more than most for draw. With access to all the good, budget-friendly draw spells, I don't see any reason to run it. It could be replaced with Promise of Power to draw 5 cards instead of 1 for the same cost, for example.
Your general is expensive to cast, and if you're counting on getting there with him, I'd want to get him out sooner rather than later, before your opponents build up a ridiculous defense. I'd definitely be running the signets, along with a handful of other good, budget artifact ramp/fixing. In my Kaalia list, I run many budget options, including Charcoal Diamond, Fire Diamond and Marble Diamond, as well as Coldsteel Heart, Talisman of Indulgence, Coalition Relic, and Worn Powerstone. There are many other good options, but these should help you hit your colors and accelerate a bit on a budget :).
After reading armistice's effect again I have to agree with you. There are better thing I should be spending five mana on better things than just drawing a card. I'll definitely look into getting a Promise of Power.
I'll definitely look into getting more mana-producers. You're right, I definitely want Oros out as early as possible if I want to be dealing general damage.
Also, am I running enough red spells? I'm afraid I'm concentrating too much on white while neglecting good/better options in other colors.
