Karador's Armory They will die to fight another day
The inspiration for this started in a draft, when I used a Brass Squire to throw around a Sword of Body and Mind at instant speed. I started working on a 60 card version when I got home, and after playing it a few times, my friend told me about Leonin Shikari (he's been playing for a lot longer then me) and my mind just exploded, I knew I was playing White, I knew I wanted both ramp and Fauna Shaman, so Green was in too, and Karador just floated to the top as my general of choice.
The Armory Guards Equipment Modifiers
Leonin Shikari and Puresteel Paladin unlock this deck, with the right equipment out I can give any of my creatures shroud or protection from any color whenever I wan to for free. To get that equipment out we look to our old friend Stoneforge Mystic, and her even better cousin Stonehewer Giant. Stonehewer does the job of all three of them every turn, and can swing while doing it (read: this guy is a beast). Shimmer Myr is another enabler of instant speed equipment (and other artifacts) drops, and Glissa, does what she does best, blocks like a beast and grabs back any equipment that might have gotten destroyed.
The Armory Equipment Galore
Lightning Greaves, is an EDH staple, but here it really shines. With these boots flying around the battlefield, unless something targets two creatures at the same time, everybody is safe (even then the effect would fizzle unless it said "up to"). Sword of Body and Mind, Sword of Feast and Famine, and Sword of War and Peace, in addition to hitting like a truck also provide a similar effect by providing protection across the field. Free Argentum Armor is never a bad thing, nor Batterskull, but the later has the added benefit of feeding my Butcher of Malakir and/or Grave Pact if I don't need the Germs. Elbrus is just for shenanigans, might not be the best pick, but its alter ego has saved me more then once. Grappling Hook takes care of utility weenies as well as double hitting with the Swords and the Spike, Quietus Spike that is, this card is ridiculous in EDH, more often then not it hits for upwards 10 life (in addition to the damage dealt). Skullclamp finds a new home whenever something dies, and Nim Deathmantle grabs that creature back. Umezawa's Jitte is still ridiculous, but doesn't really gain much from being thrown around. Trailblazer's Boots also shine in EDH typically making stuff unblockable. Kusari-Gama was another card I got turned onto recently, typically acts as the other end to the Quietus Spike to search out with Stonehewer Giant if they decide to block the creature (they take a spike to the face if they don't block)
Combos Mana, Tokens, and Indestructibility
I stumbled upon an infinite mana and token loop with either Wurmcoil Engine or Grave Titan, Ashnod's Altar, and Nim Deathmantle. Sacrifice Wurmcoil to the alter, pay 2 mana (plus the 2 from sacrificing) and activate the Deathmantle, Wurmcoil comes back and you get 2 wurm tokens, Sacrifice Wurmcoil and a token for 4 mana, use it for the mantle to grab back Wurmcoil, now you have 3 tokens and the Wurmcoil repeat, if you want infinite mana, just sacrifice the extra token with the alter. Same story with Grave titan, but you don't have to invest the 2 mana at the beginning because you get the zombies as he enters the battlefield.
