So I was sort of pondering over some of the really kick ass green card draw deck and I started thinking about Thrun... After a bit of thinking though I moved from thrun to Silvos. Silvos hits a hell of a lot harder for just a little more mana and regenerates for cheaper. While spot removal is an issue in my meta we don't do a ton of counters so I think I will see how it plays differently with Silvos at the helm instead. I love that he doesn't really need to be buffed and is aggressively coasted.
With this first draft I sort of focused on CA heavily and a bit less on other things. Generally speaking in my own experience if you can chain from card to card you can get the big results and the answers a bit better. Hopefully it will pan out for me.
Well... a few updates. I havent actually run this list yet however it does look like tons of fun and I have come back to it a few times. I just wanted to bump it with a few small updates to the list. Given a little time to look the list over I second guessed some of my original card options.
CUTS: Kavu Climber after some thought I realized that Masked Admirers is almost a strict upgrade. It costs less and can self recur. I don't like the idea of paying 5 mana for this card anyways so paying 4 with the ability to self recur sounds really promising.
Vines of Vastwood I for one am not huge on cards that give one time protection and cost mana to do so. The pump effect of this card is very small as well. Even if everything went perfect this pump + Silvos hitting twice still only adds up to 20 dmg so that is really disappointing.
Stonewood Invocation I thought about it a bit more and these one time pump effects just arent worth it. They probably wont turn into a faster kill so meh.
Grim Flowering This is very situational based upon what I might draw. This deck isnt super creature heavy either. I considered cutting this and Praetor's Counsel and sort of just determined that Praetor's Counsel is the better of the two for now. They could both be going in the future but for now Grim is going by itself.
ADDS: Masked Admirers Strict upgrade over the Kavu Climber. Hopefully it will be good enough to stay for now. I like the self recurring and being cheaper than the Climber.
Primal Command A nice sort of versatile tutor / grave hate.
Silklash Spider Answer to flying creatures. It is cheap to cast, huge ass on it and it can bring down annoying things like 40 flying 1/1s which seems to occasionally just stupidly win. I considered some of the Hurricane variants briefly but I like the fact that this guy is on legs which means that tutoring into him becomes much easier.
Moment's Peace Another fog effect. I see a lot of big waves of damage from creatures in my meta. I will give it a shot and see how it goes. I like the buyback one more however this deck has a lot of draw effects and little noncreature tutoring.
Well... that's all I have for this list for now. Let me know if you think of anything. I had wanted to try to include a few things from my wishlist however these seemed like more appropriate additions.
I'd think that a few more cards that can consistently let Silvos "get there" in two swings might be nice, like Loxodon Warhammer, Boar Umbra, or Batterskull. This deck also seems poised to take better advantage of Sword of Feast and Famine than the other swords. Hard to say what to cut but I'd bet that Hystrodon, Keen Sense, Elvish Visionary, and Provoke will be the most consistently underwhelming cards.
That being said...what about Cloudthresher, Might of Oaks, Rancor and that 5/3 hasty infect guy.
Sorry, mono green can be a bit boring. I always sort of think that in general going with more colors just opens a deck up. However I like the challange of using some under utilized commanders to just sort of mock up a unique list sometimes as well.
Cloudthresher - I considered him but sort of ended up disliking the fact that his damage to flyers was a set number. He is a decent creature but in the end I liked Silklash Spider / Tornado Elemental both a little bit more than I liked him. He is an option though and he does answer some flying token swams however I feel like he is a bit less versatile outside of that. The fact that he is a potential target of Fierce Empath is a plus though.
Might of Oaks I considered it but it seems to me that a removal response would be really lame for this. I did have some pump such as Stonewood Invocation and Vines of Vastwood in the list but then I decided that it might be best to just let Silvos do his thing on his own. The surprise damage could be very nice on this but I dislike how easily it is responded to and stopped.
Rancor - doesnt add enough additional to Silvos. It still leaves him on a 3 turn clock and he already has trample. It could help as far as people chumping him however I just dont see it adding enough.
Putrefax not enough pump effects to really do much with him... Inkmoth Nexus would probably be more potent.

I considered going with some equipment... The problem is that when he gets chumped even a little he is going to slow down even with equipment on. Out of the bunch of them Batterskull is probably the most viable... I don't really see all that much that I would do with SoFaF in here but I will think about it a bit more.
I really dislike ETB tapped lands as well but I will give them a bit of thought.
