This deck was built for casual multiplayer EDH. Although it is still fun to play 1v1, it will generally be too slow to win often head to head, although I have gotten a very large Ulasht out quite early in some lucky games.
The main wincon for this deck is to amass a giant token army to swing for lethal.
This deck does have an infinite creatures + mana combo in Mana Echoes and Myr Matrix.
The deck is very vulnerable to sweeps which is the reason why Greater Goodis included. It also works well with a gigantic Ulasht - she draws hate when she comes out at 20/20, and it's a nice answer to commander removal.
I used to run Blood Moon instead of Primal Order, but I like the fact that Primal could conceivably win me the game rather than just slowing it down for everyone else.
My meta is extremely blue and flyer-heavy which is why I am running Pyroblast, Red Elemental Blast, and the dragons.
Do you all think I should add Lightning Greaves or Swiftfoot Boots? I'm leaning towards greaves because I'm not targeting my own creatures, like ever.
I just don't know what to cut for the shoes. Thinking of getting rid of urzatron and replacing one with the shoes and basics with the others. I've never gotten them out all at once anyway....thoughts?
Made multiple changes. Let me know what you think of the new list! This thing has been running like a well oiled machine, and is a lot of fun to play. Added 2 from innistrad, can't wait to add them.
Pulled off a Helix Pinnacle win the other day. Had seedborn muse out, mana reflection, and caged sun. It was awesome.

so I've been playing the deck quite a bit and it has gone through some drastic changes. I thought I would comment on the cards that I've pulled out and some of the ones mentioned before that I'm leaving in, after many many many games with the deck.
When it comes to token generators, I was finding myself with less than I really needed. To really hit its stride, the deck has to be making dudes constantly. So a big part of tuning it up was to make token making as efficient and quick as possible. For that reason, I took out Verdeloth the Ancient. I found myself never wanting to see it in my hand unless I already had Mana Reflection out, and honestly how often does that card stick around? I cut it - it was just way too mana-intensive.
I'm also leaving in Jade Mage and Psychotrope Thallid. Jade mage is a great card to have in the opening hand - it draws no hate and you can start making guys quickly with it. Sure, it's not as good as Ant Queen but I find that she almost always gets 3-4 saps out, and a 4/4 Ulasht for 4 mana is a good drop. Plus, the deck has a tendency to lumber slowly out of the gate, and Jade mage is a good way to keep myself busy for the first few turns if I don't have anything else to play. I looked for other two-drops, but couldnt find one that was a better fit.
Psychotrope Thallid isnt included for its token-making ability (although with Doubling Season it can make dudes fast), but for the card draw. If the deck is working at all, I almost always have saps on the board. Plus, it's always funny to watch opponents waste removal on a thallid once they see me draw 2-3 cards with it. It's like a baby skullclamp. Me gusta. Side note: I originally had a lot of FE thallids in here, because I started playing when fallen empires came out - it was nostalgia getting the best of me. Ha!
The other thing I needed in the deck after testing for awhile was haste effects. Sarkhan Vol was a great addition, and I also added Concordant Crossroads after messing around with In the Web of War for a while. The web is a good card, but the two red was proving difficult, as was the cost. It's so much easier to win with crossroads because of its mana cost. Since the deck is so susceptible to wrath effects, I need to swing with the token army as soon as I make it, and that was too difficult to do with web.
I took out Night Soil because it just wasnt hitting enough. THe fact that the two creatures have to come from the same graveyard just made it way too situational, although I did love how the card performed against Mimeoplasm decks. All things considered, there were better choices for the slot. Shame, too, because I love that card again for nostalgic reasons.
I took out Helix Pinnacle because I was tired of being made fun of. Although I DID win a game with it once - I had mana reflection, doubling season, and seedborn muse out. It was awesome!
I also took out the infinite combos in the deck. They almost never went off, and I decided that they werent really in the spirit of EDH - imo. To me, the best part about playing this deck was doing really fun stuff - playing a 50/50 ulasht for example. I decided winning wasnt the main goal of the deck (although it does win a lot in its current form). So that's why I removed mana echoes, nim deathmantle, ashnod's altar, myr matrix.
Finally, I upped my creature count and took out creatures that I didnt want stolen or Bribery'd. I'm glad I did, too. I recently had a game (after I took out primeval titan, vorinclex, etc) where I got briberyed, and the guy was so bitter because there was really nothing he wanted to take! It was great. He wound up targeting Eternal Witness, which was probably the best choice, and I was soooo glad I wasnt having to deal with my own clex or titan.
Anyway, the deck is running great now, and I have to say I have the most fun with it. It's the only deck I've kept for a really long period of time. I now compare all my other edh decks with this one. I ask myself - is this deck at least half as fun to play as my ulasht? If the answer is no, I will dismantle it and try a new idea. It's been a ton of fun to pilot this thing and although it wins much more often in 1v1 than multiplayer, it's still a hoot and does crazy, crazy things on the regular.

You can still play Nim Deathmantle without going infinite. It's just so good with Ulasht.
You might want to look at Scythe of the Wretched. It's a nice way to grow a larger Ulasht (just shoot himself with the last counter) and it's especially nice if you give Ulasht deathtouch. You can use it as a political anti-wrath tool too. Kamahl, Fist of Krosa is good at that as well (animate an opposing and if you see someone reaching for wrath mana), and the overrun effect can end a game.
