The deck is divided into a few parts:
1.) Lords
2.) Clone Effects
3.) Miscellaneous Creatures
4.) Utility Spells
5.) Equipment
6.) Trinkets and Utility Artifacts
The Lords:
Each of these are chosen for either providing a cheap pump effect (Lord of Atlantis) to Misty and his friends or providing some other kind of utility effect like card draw (Riptide Director).
Note that each Lord should have some effect on at least a few other creatures in the deck in order to provide some synergy.
Clone Effects:
These allow you to either double up on the Lords you have in play or to provide another pumpable body. If you happen to be able to clone another player's creature that matches one of your pump effect, then that's even better.
Misc. Creatures:
These include the various Changelings (Mothdust Changeling) which receive benefits from any Lord you may have out or simply other creatures with high utility (Glen Elandra Archmage) that happen to match up with the deck.
Utility Spells:
A small countermagic suite that is mainly saved for deterring Wrath effects, which this deck is very vulnerable to and a bit of raw card draw. I'm sure eventually I'll replace a few of the not-so-great cards in the decklist and upgrade this section to be a bit more powerful.
Equipment:
What's a Voltron deck without equipment right? I'm on somewhat of a budget, so SoWaP is the only Sword I own, but so far I've been able to make due with a few other pieces of still worthwhile beatsticks.
Trinkets and Utility Artifacts:
Because I'm a fan of toolboxes, I've included as many cards as possible to fetch with good ol Trinket Mage, plus a few of your normal EDH staples (Caged Sun). Reusing the Mage with Riptide Laboratory is a great way to find just what you need, so much so that I'm working on finding a spot for Expedition Map, just to ensure I can more reliably get the engine going.
This is only my first draft of the decklist, as well as my first draft of this post, so I'll be working on including more detail as I play the list more. As for now, I'd appreciate any and all feedback I can get from the forums.
