In Greek, it means bowel rumbling. In english its essentially your stomach rumbling, making sounds, and doing all kinds of funky stuff. But thats not what you want to know
In Magic, he is Borborygmos, Leader of the Gruul. There was only one decklist up here for him when I first posted so I figured I'd throw another one into the mix as well. A little variety never hurt, eh? The deck is meant for multiplayer since thats how I play usually, although its strong in single player as well. Its a Beatdown deck with damage, double strike, trample, and extra attacks along with a bit of utility.
Why should you play Bor Bor?
Well, everyone has their reasons for playing who they play, and I'm not going to say Bor is TEH BESTEST GENERAL EVAR!!! (but he totally is). To quote Tesya of the Orzhov guild "It's easy to see why those Gruul dirtbags follow him-the only orders he gives are 'Crush them!' and 'We eat!'" She then went on to say how beautiful he is when he smiles and he has a smokin' hot body, but that was off the record.
On a more serious side, Borborygmos offers many things for many different people. For me, he is an ideal general because given the opprotunity to ignore everyone else and make my field as large as possible and lose (because im bad like that), I will. Note I don't want to lose, it happens because I get distracted getting a big field. With Bor Bor, the best way for me to make my field bigger, is by punching everyone else on the board and that yields more victorious results for me
This deck offers many creatures (most of them fat because Bor Bor ordered "We eat!" (and that makes the "Crush them!" order easier to follow ;)), answers to many problems, and enough accel so that you dont get left behind everyone else.
To put it shortly, If you're looking for a fun deck with a fun general, Look no further than Bor Bor!
So that's a list, but this is more than just a list. Here is the deck, broken down into what each card is for, and where it fits in the deck based on purpose.
Beaters. Creatures, spells, and other good stuff for punching them.
The Beating Creatures
-Fangren Firstborn Pump on attack being declared.
-Hellkite Charger Extra attack phases? Ok.
-Primeval Titan This fits into the mana search category, but at 6 mana, he's a beater on his own.
-Vorinclex, Voice of Hunger He is a fist, with the ability to double your land mana. More of a beater but always fun to tutor.

-Stonebrow, Krosan Hero Pump that lasts through extra attack phases to everything with trample, which most have and everything can get.
-Akroma, Angel of Fury Early drop as morph, beats hard, and is funny when you remember her old self *coughAkroma's Memorialcough*
The Beating Spells
-Genesis Wave Top-decking is better when its top-half decking to play.
-Savage Beating Double strike, or extra attack phase. Or both
-Gratuitous Violence Double damage, and not only combat damage. Double Arashi's channel or tap, double inferno titan's pinging, and double the punching damage.
-Rage Reflection Double strike in this deck is great because after first strike damage from Bor, there's a counter being thrown to everyone (don't forget ;)). then a punch stronger than the first!
-Aggravated Assault Extra attack phases as long as I can pay? Ok.
-Akroma's Memorial This is just funny. It's basic math. 2+2= They're dead.
Destruction. Crushing their things to make punching them easier (See section one regarding good stuff to punch them with ;))
The Crushing Creatures.
-Arashi, the Sky Asunder Flying a problem? Tutor up this guy and (yo, he'll) solve it like Vanilla Ice.
-Hoard-Smelter Dragon Pesky Artifacts, blow them up and get bigger.
-Terastodon Blow up anything that isn't a creature and give them an elephant (for you to crush)!

The creatures that help your game plan.

The magic that does the same but doesn't punch the enemies
-Regrowth Bring back what you need to win quicker.
-Restock Bring back those 2 things you really want!
-Praetor's Counsel Bring it all back and hold it until you use it!
-Hunter's Insight Drawing yields nice results, don't use on an infinite attack phase or you lose too
-Lignify Answers so many problematic creatures. Big guys you can't fight for some reason, combo pieces, the red Akroma....
-Greater Good Wrath turns to mass draw if you cant save your guys. Its for the greater good.
-Asceticism M. C. Hammer. Can't touch this (or that, or that, or that). Also allows for regeneration of not only yours, but ANY TARGET CREATURE (should someone else have something you want alive).
-Fires of Yavimaya Global haste. Can be popped for +2/+2 should you need it.
-Cauldron of Souls Saves your field, triggers ETB abilities, and with a Fangren Firstborn out or Bor Bor, makes it so your creatures don't die.
-Bear Umbra One possibility for infinite attack phases, along with a survival shield, and some pump. If you don't have an infinite attack phase option, cast more stuff when your done!
-Sword of Feast and Famine The other possibility for infinite attacks, but instead of a death shield, protections. Same as bear umbra otherwise (although a little harder to get rid of).
-Teferi's Puzzle Box Bor Bor does not like mind games. Planning? Overrated. Play with what you get. The only combo he wants you to use is comboing his fist with you.
Tutors. Not the math kind, the kind that lets you get your guys there to do what you want. Also included in this is ways of putting your creatures out easier and cheaper!
The Creature
-Fierce Empath Yes he's the only one, but searches for any creature with 6+ CMC to your hand!
The Spells
-Tooth and Nail Search for 2, put 2 into play, or do both. Fantastic.
-Primal Command Has so many options, can tutor, bounce, gain life, or shuffle graveyard back to library. One of my favorite cards in green.
-Natural Order Sac that elf you don't need to put a real creature into play!
-Green Sun's Zenith Tutor a green guy to play for 1 extra mana, then shuffle the spell back in. B, E, A, utiful.
-Summoner's Pact Free tutor to hand, but remember to pay or you lose next turn.
-Chord of Calling Instant creature to play from library for GGG more. Worth it every time.
-Quicksilver Amulet For only 4 mana, put that guy into play because you can when you want.
Mana solutions! Acceleration, ramp, and ways to increase your mana. Everything an expensive deck needs. Speed wins games.
The Creatures who get you the mana you need.
-Farhaven Elf Basic land to play tapped. Better than to hand, hands down (pun intended)
-Krosan Tusker A draw and a basic land to hand. 2 for one and late game, he's a fattie :3
-Wood Elves Forest to play, untapped. Hello Taiga and Stomping Ground!
Everything else to get you ahead of everyone else.
-Skyshroud Claim 2 Forests into play untapped for 4, dual lands ahoy!
-Explosive Vegetation 2 Basics into play tapped for 4.
-Three Visits Forest to play untapped, same as...
-Nature's Lore Forest to play untapped for 2.
-Kodama's Reach 3 mana, 1 basic to play, 1 to hand.
-Cultivate What Kodama's Reach said.
-Rampant Growth 2 mana for a basic to play tapped.
-Sylvan Scrying 2 mana for ANY LAND to your hand.
-Reap and Sow 4 mana for ANY LAND to play UNTAPPED, or a land destro, or both for an additional 2.
-Mana Reflection Doubles all mana produced, including from non-land sources.
-Sol Ring 1 mana to play for a free tap for 2.
-Talisman of Impulse taps for colorless or pings you for a color.
-Gruul Signet Nice to filter, with Mana Reflection it is 1 for 4
Lands, the basis of every deck. Without them you can't do anything because you have no mana
Utility Lands
-Yavimaya Hollow Produces colorless, but for G lets you regenerate target creature.
-Tower of the Magistrate Stop that pesky Equipment from being there, or stop that artifact from dealing damage or blocking you!
-Kessig Wolf Run Such an amazing land. It's better fire breathing, plus trample, to target creature. Someone else killing an opponent and your lands are all untapped? Help them out
-Strip Mine Kill that land that hurts you (*coughCabal Coffers*cough*)
-Skarrg, the Rage Pits Pump a creature by 1 and give it trample. Doesn't need to be yours.
-Homeward Path Stealing is bad. Give me that back.
-Winding Canyons Flash in your guys when they least expect it! ON THEIR TURN!!
Filter Lands
-Command Tower ETB untapped and produces either.
-Karplusan Forest Replaced Highland Weald because it enters untapped, and it wont always hurt you :D.
-Raging Ravine ETB tapped, produces either, can become a creature if you so desire (a creature that fits with the theme!).
-Rootbound Crag 9/10 times will ETB untapped and produce either.
-Stomping Ground Mountain and a Forest, easily tutored for, ravnica shockland (ETB tapped unless you pay 2 life, then untapped).
-Taiga Mountain and a Forest, easily tutored for with no drawbacks, ETB untapped.
-Fire-Lit Thicket ETB untapped, filters colored mana, otherwise produces colorless. Taps for 4 with Mana Reflection (and investment of r/g).
-Copperline Gorge ETB untapped if it’s the 1st, 2nd, or 3rd land you play. Produces either.
-Wooded Foothills Search for a mountain or forest for 1 life.
-Kazandu Refuge ETB Tapped, gains you 1 life, produces either.
Basics
- 10x Forest It's a forest. Bor Bor likes the pretty, shiny ones.
- 8x Mountain It's a mountain. Bor Bor likes the shiny, pretty ones.
Combo Platter #2. Eternal Titan Tooth and Nail => Eternal Witness+ Primeval Titan. Served with French Fries and a Jumbo Soda. May find trees, mountains, wolf runs, a path home, or a lake appear in front of you and may lead to extra teeth and nails in your hand.
Combo Platter #3. The Taco Bell. Tooth and Nail => Terastodon+ Woodfall Primus. Served with a side of elephant. May lead to your opponent losing a few things he find's valuable. Don't destroy the bathroom though (Taco Bell is delicious though).
Inferno Titan and Gratuitous Violence Doubles the damage of the declared attack allowing you to do 2+2+2, 2+4, or just a flat 6 to any combination of creatures or players.
Cauldron of Souls + Borborygmos or Vigor or Fangren Firstborn. Since the change to counter interactions, the +1/+1 counter will make the -1/-1 counter from persist go away allowing you to have fun like this
There are obviously more combos in the deck, but these are the strongest/funniest/most obvious ones, and who doesn't like a Vorabrask, the Hidden Voice of Hunger?
Well, theres the list updated to Innistrad. Hope you enjoy the deck as much as I do and had as much fun reading it as I had writing it
Please, feel free to comment and critque (as long as its constructive). Card recommendations are very much welcomed, as is any input willing to be offered.
Change Log
Because upgrades are never bad... for you

Blantently better card, and if I'm recurring something with 7 mana, WHY HAVENT I WON YET?!?!?!
Complete overhaul of the deck. Upgrades all around and anything that didn't work, hasn't been played, or wasn't worth tutoring for (if it was a creature) has been cut and replaced. Multiple attacks a turn (as many as I want) has been added and many upgrades found. Cut creatures that didn't pull their weight, cut some win more cards and cut some just for sheer upgrades. And... Akroma's Memorial plus Bor Bor.... It's just funny yo.
I would also like to thank the users who commented and made me rethink the deck and how it works. Upgrades would not have been found, and ideas wouldn't have stemmed from your suggestions so, thank you
Deck has been updated on 10/13, 10/22, 10/23 (For those interested). Tower of the Magistrate has been added for testing purposes. Not 100% on wether or not it will remain. Just as a note. -Nero
Updated again as of 11/6. Tower of the Magistrate has been added for good. It's useful and good at the same time. -Nero
Updated again as of 11/10. Also converted to a primer (in case you didn't notice ;))
Ahh good, you added it with real deck tags, that's much easier on the brain.
You might consider High Market to prevent theft/tucking, or Homeward Path if there's much theft in your meta.
Expedition Map is extremely useful for fetching either of those or a KWRun, or just as extra early fixing. Very useful card.
Yeah, like I said, first deck post here, was still learning how to do it
Thanks for the advice, I don't own a High Market so if I can get my hands on one, it's in. As to the Homeward Path, theft is not an issue in my meta so it's utility is lacking.
As for Expedition Map, I don't really have any reason to NOT run it. Will put that in once I get another one (my colorless mana accel is busy in other decks :p).
Thanks for the input!

Aggro decks need to connect to win, therefore I'm suggesting Bellowing Tanglewurm to make sure your dudes connect (because trample isn't enough evasion these days). Also, since some of your bigger dudes, namely the Hydras and the Goliath lack trample, perhaps global trample enablers like Overwhelming Stampede, Brawn, Bramblewood Paragon, etc.
Also, how has Valley Rannet been working out? Do you ever use the body? I'm planning on building my own paupery-baudgety Borborygmos, and I must know this.

Ah... my first EDH deck... It was deconstructed for Kresh, who will in turn be deconstructed for his predecessor again, since there's too many Kresh decks floating around lately. I'd maybe add Genesis Wave, Oracle of Mul Daya, and Goblin Razerunners, for starters. Since you're running Vigor, might you want Chain Reaction? And Genesis, since it's a bit of a staple.
Bear in mind, though, I'm still something of a noob when it comes to EDH, so you might have to take what i say with a grain of salt. You've got a solid list there; Good luck.
EDIT: Wow, that sounds kinda condescending. Sorry!
@Blackjack- Theft has arisen and hurt mah face. Homeward path is going in lol
@DasNekros- Bellowing Tanglewurm is a card I've debated and haven't really liked. Also, most of my bigguns have trample and with the Double Strike and extra attack phases, connection isn't really a problem (not to mention Kessig Wolf Run and Skarrg, the Rage Pits for extra trample). Also hamletback is too slow and offers too little for me, which is why he came out. Thanks tfor the imput though! And still haven't drawn Valley Rannet to be quite honest lol. Would I use him as a body? Yes, otherwise there are better land searches that I could use.
@Doomchicken- Ultra Mega Chicken? Shh. No. He is legend Sorry couldn't help myself there. Genesis wave was in an incarnation before being posted but was cut because there were better things I wanted but am debating returning. Mana hasn't been a real problem with this deck until yesterday's mass land destro (/cry) and todays "yay i have too much mana!" Either way, Oracle doesn't fit the theme and isnt as strong as I'd like. Id rather run Rites of Flourshing for the extra draw a turn but even still, there seemed to be better options. Goblin Razerunners made me giggle and cackle. Might want to find me one of those :D. Chain Reaction also made me cackle, and after playing some more I'll watch for the number of creatures on the field and their size. Might work well. As to the Genesis, I have never had one so have never missed not having one. Thanks for the ideas! My cackling always makes me.... cackle.
Once again to all 3 of you, thank's for the tips/ideas/comments on the deck. Improvement is always welcome and appreciated, and without other's ideas this deck wouldn't be what it is today, nor can it improve further. Thanks again!

- for more evasive beats, you can try Thorn Elemental or its fly-hater cousin, Tornado Elemental. If you want to help kill some utility dudes, spread the love with Butcher Orgg.
- speaking of utility, is there any specific reason you're not running Anger in an aggro-based deck? Similar questions regarding Lightning Greaves and Swiftfoot Boots.
Also, nice tech with the Cauldron. Would not have thought of that.

Thorn Elemental is nice, as is Tornado Elemental but the reason I'm not running either is because, with almost every creature having trample (the good ones anyway) and the double strike, my damage getting through is almost inevitable. As to Butcher Orgg, it's a funny and good card yes but for the 7 mana I'd need to remove something that is better for it, and the damage to creatures, if you dont block with those creatures, your face will hurt; if you do, I took care of them anyway.
As to the utility, I have a few global haste effects to begin with and the reason I'm not running the greaves is shroud means I can't Kessig Wolf Run or regenerate them. As for the boots, I have the global haste from 3 sources and the hexproof is nice, but not imperative to the deck. The reason I'm running Asceticism is because it gives targeted regenerate and hexproof. Which is nice but not 100% needed given my current meta.
@Blackjack- Sylvan Scrying has been added instead of the map because it does the same thing, for 1 less mana. The rest of my searches are coming into play effect, so I prefer them over a non basic to my hand. Thanks for the recommendation though, it referred me to the better version (because I play green :D)
Upgraded to a primer as of 11/10/11! If there's anything I should add to make it better (the deck or the post), please comment and tell me! First time making a primer so, I think I did it right

Bor Bor's Combo's that are fun to do!
Tooth and Nail Combos.
Combo Platter #1. Vorabrask, the Hidden Voice of Hunger
Tooth and Nail => Vorinclex, Voice of Hunger+ Urabrask the Hidden. Served with an Eggroll and Pork Fried Rice. May make you go much faster, and cause lethargy in your enemies mana and minions.
Combo Platter #2. Eternal Titan
Tooth and Nail => Eternal Witness+ Primeval Titan.
Other Combos.
Spike Weaver and Vigor or Fangren Firstborn or Borborygmos. Makes fogs happen when you need them. Save your, or a friend's behind.
Bear Umbra or Sword of Feast and Famine with Hellkite Charger or Aggravated Assault. Infinite attack phases after you pay for the first as long as there is a connection.
Since the change to counter interactions, the +1/+1 counter will make the -1/-1 counter from persist go away allowing you to have fun like this
Summoner's Pact + Quicksilver Amulet. Instantly put any creature from your library into play for 4 colorless mana.

Updated again 11/13. Wooded Foothills for Shivan Oasis. Nothing major, but efficency is good. -Nero
Another update on 11/14. Order came in and I like to update the upgrades when they're actually in the deck

You might consider High Market to prevent theft/tucking, or Homeward Path if there's much theft in your meta.
Expedition Map is extremely useful for fetching either of those or a KWRun, or just as extra early fixing. Very useful card.

Stonebrow: Breaking Things
BWR Kaalia Punisher: Heaven's on Fire
Grimgrin: Dead Reckoning
Yeah, like I said, first deck post here, was still learning how to do it
Thanks for the advice, I don't own a High Market so if I can get my hands on one, it's in. As to the Homeward Path, theft is not an issue in my meta so it's utility is lacking.
As for Expedition Map, I don't really have any reason to NOT run it. Will put that in once I get another one (my colorless mana accel is busy in other decks :p).
Thanks for the input!

Also, how has Valley Rannet been working out? Do you ever use the body? I'm planning on building my own paupery-baudgety Borborygmos, and I must know this.

Bear in mind, though, I'm still something of a noob when it comes to EDH, so you might have to take what i say with a grain of salt. You've got a solid list there; Good luck.
EDIT: Wow, that sounds kinda condescending. Sorry!
