I originally started on this deck after running into a Tribal EDH game on Cockatrice. I wasn't paying attention when I clicked on the game and joined one of the funniest EDH games I have ever seen. One of the people was using a Ramirez DePietro pirate deck, another used Lin Sivvi, Defiant Hero and the third used Doran. After playing in this game with a non-tribal deck I wanted to make an off-the-wall and funny tribal EDH deck. After a long and grueling search through legendary creatures, I settled upon the gem that is, Seshiro the Anointed.
Building this deck actually took a fair amount of time, but it is definitely not perfect or complete in any way (suggestions are very welcome). The deck started out as every snake ever printed with a little ramp and a bunch of random green cards. The deck was then shaved down creature-wise since some snakes just are not good at all. Things were switched out for other things (I don't remember what for what exactly but from now on I'll keep a changelog). The end result was a very fun, and not obscenely obnoxious mono-green deck. This deck is not Omnath or Azusa so it draws very little hate which is great to help give you time to ramp a bit then start dropping tiny little snake until Seshiro can come in and swing a game.
Keep in mind that this deck isn't meant to be competitive even though it is probably my best EDH deck.
It's a mono green deck so start of how you would think: ramp, ramp, more ramp. Once you do that start playing the snakes that you have in hand. Don't cast Seshiro until you are going to attack with more than 3 creatures and are guaranteed to connect with a few. Seshiro really becomes a target once the opponents realize that a team-wide +2/+2 boost is really significant, but multiple cards drawn each turn with such a large amount of mana available is deadly. If you draw into it or have had it in hand, Genesis Wave is your best friend. This card is AMAZING. I've kept an opening hand of 3 Forests, Extraplanar Lense, Explore, Gauntlet of Power, and Genesis Wave hit a land on all of my draws and G-Waved for 21 turn 5. From that I stuck maybe 6 lands, a bunch of snakes, Akroma's Memorial, Coat of Arms, and Snake Basket. Next turn cracked the Basket for way too many snakes with the Memorial and Coat of Arms out attacked for too much damage for me to count. Just as a final tip, if you play against someone who uses a large amount of board sweepers take him out first.
General Notes
This deck is very splashy and a lot of games end up being a swarm based strategy. However this deck is very very fun as well as fairly cheap (barring things like Gaea's Cradle and Akroma's Memorial, etc). One problem this deck runs into are things like Ghostly Prison since you need to attack with your creatures. Usually this isn't a problem, except my friend runs a Zur the Enchanter deck and he immediately goes for that. Case and point if you know someone has something like that in their deck save the removal for it. Also I know there are a few cards that are off tribe but I just couldn't resist putting them in
