Ok, because this deck has changed a lot I've decided to write a new intro. This is a Sedris, the Traitor King EDH deck intended for casually competitive multiplayer games. Sedris is what I would call a C+ general- he's got a solid body and an ability that is good but not incredible. This is better than it may seem for multiplayer games, as you probably won't be percieved as the biggest threat on the table. The flipside of course is that you're probably not playing the most powerful card in your group, and the players are usually justified for focusing their efforts elsewhere.
The deck is built around Sedris but can function fine without him. The key thing I've found when playing this general is to remember that creature cards are two spells. Sedris has built in card advantage because of the unearth mechanic, so it's a good idea to play as many creatures as you can since you can do a lot with them. I initially ran a build that tried to unearth a few large creatures like Sundering Titan with huge come into play effects, but I found that casting tons of smaller creatures and reanimating en masse in the late game was a much more consistent strategy. Nonetheless, since the cost of reanimation is fixed at 3 cmc, I want to get as much bang for my buck as possible. To do this I run a large suite of creatures with come into play effects that can be abused through unearth. Furthermore, I run a number of sacrifice outlets that allow me to benefit from unearthed creatures leaving play. Finally, I try to run creatures between a CMC of 3 and 6. The reason I don't run one or two drops is because the 40 point life race is much longer in EDH so these creatures often make insignificant contributions, and because I don't get as much quality out of reanimating a one mana 2/2 regardless of how cost efficient it was when I cast it. CMC's over 6 are avoided because in the late-game I should be spending my mana reanimating creatures and every now and then dropping something cheap, so I don't want to have too many creatures that are uncastable early or else my graveyard won't fill. Sedris's ability allows the deck to have both an early game and a late game, so why not have both?
Anyways the general gameplan of the deck looks like this: Drop a few creatures early, pump them with equipments, cast Sedris and create a consistent stream of creatures going into play from my hand, into the graveyard from play, and back into play from the graveyard. The deck is good but not great in multiplayer matches, and I've never played it in a duel. I'm sure there are ways to improve it, so if there are any experienced players that have suggestions or see something that seems out of place please let me know. Thank you!

If you reanimate a Myojin, it won't have the divinity counter. Read the card.
I totally missed that. Thanks dude- In all honesty I'm thinking of scrapping this build altogether, it's just too hard to go straight aggro at a four person table when everyone is at 40 life. And that Myojin was one of the few big plays I had, so I think the deck is just too slow to get the job done.

Some big come into play dudes like Bogarden Hellkite, Shriekmaw, and Sphinx of Lost Truths may help you get that final damage through. The fact that they work double (triple?) with Sedris is a huge plus.

Great point. Bogardan Hellkite in particular seems really intriguing, and since I just found out Myojin of Night's Reach can't activate upon reanimation the Hellkite is definitely gonna take his place. Shriekmaw is pretty sick too. Maybe I'll throw in Nicol Bolas so I can get seven evasive damage and hopefully take out one opponent's hand. This deck just needs more big plays since most of the zombies are too sub-par to be a strong aggressive force.

Wow, just saw this post- super helpful. Love Unholy Grotto, love Bladewing, love Bolas, love the rest of the dragons. In fact a Bladewing combo could be a totally sick option for a Sedris reanimation combo, since he reanimates a dragon upon entering the battlefield. Really clever ideas man, thanks a ton for the suggestions!

Just posted the recent changes I've made to the deck- Completely scrapped the tribal zombies theme and went with a much more consistent and, so far, effective beatdown strategy. I could really still use some suggestions from experienced players, so if anyone has ideas on card choices or sees something that isn't working let me know! Thanks guys!
I think you're missing a few staples for this deck. Buried Alive is amazing, it's like a triple Demonic Tutor with Sedris out. Kagemaro, First to Suffer is a great sweeper that you can unearth in an emergency, plus he's usually a pretty big beater. Beacon of Unrest and Puppeteer Clique are must haves in any black deck.

but are crazy good with unearthed creatures (swing with an unearthed beatstick, sacrifice before end of turn since it would leave play anyways
This actually doesn't work. The errata on the Unearth ability reads "exile this creature at the beginning of the next end step or if this creature would leave the battlefield." What this does is create a replacement effect as soon as you try to utilize the sac outlet, that will exile it instead of put it into your 'Yard.
Its a nice idea but I highly recommend adding in some cycling creatures for extra speed and use. Grixis Sojourners Draw a card, remove a card you really hate from someones graveyard and then unearth to bring a body into play. Sounds like a sweet deal. Igneous Pouncer Cycle him for a swamp or mountain then unearth a 5/1 Scion of Darkness This one is a must have for the deck. cycle him to draw then unearth a 6/6 trampler with a sweet ability of someone is stupid enough to take the hit from him. Undead Gladiator Another must have for the deck. Cycle him to draw pay 2 discard something youre going to unearth anyways return him to your hand cycle again rinse lather repeat. This guys takes your decks theme to a whole new level. Problem solved on how to get stuff into your graveyard.

I've been playing a Sedris deck online but it focuses more on reanimating huge Grixis monsters. Some of the cards I use that might still be useful for you are:
Magus of the Jar - Great way to fill your graveyard and once in the graveyard you can bring him back for a 3 mana Memory Jar.
Gilded Drake - Excellent card to unearth since they'll just lose it at EOT.
Sneak Attack - Excellent way to get beaters in play, swing once and then are ready to Unearth back.
Scion of Darkness - I second adding this guy since he cycles and usually leaves you with a creature after you Unearth him.
River Kelpie - Draw a card each time you Unearth a creature.

No, even though you aren't the controller of Gilded Drake you are still the owner so it would always go to your graveyard. If you really want to abuse him cast him then bounce him back to your hand to steal another creature. Capsize is good for this.
