I am working on a casual mono-green Druid/Treefolk tribal theme deck and I am looking for suggestions. I don't want to adhere so strictly to the theme that I just roll over and die to a tuned deck but I don't want it to be top tier either.
So thematic points that I would like to hit:
Protecting things - Druids and treefolk protect the things that they plant, so regneration/shield effects
Growing things - Finding forests and putting them into play
Lands matter - Doing something with the lands I have.
Older Cards - I really like older cards. This isn't a theme per say but I would like to include as many weird older cards as possible.
No artifacts - Artifacts are unnatural and off theme.
If it's mono green and a tribal druid/treefolk, then how about actually using Nemath or Verdaloth as the generals. For boosting, you could just try to use over run effects? I guess. Small boost doesn't help if it cost 5.
Also, if you want to use artifacts hate, there's always Gaea's avenger.
