I am spending my money on a different deck, but I did fall in love with the EDH format. I really like the idea of one offs. How they make the game completely different. How they make the game different nearly every time. So I am willing to spend an extra 40 or less on this deck. I do have some of the cards for this deck, but Advice is always cool.
Nice goblin theme! Your Squee list is completely different from mine, but here are some Squee-specific cards that might go well in your deck:
Skullclamp -- gives you a reusable draw engine with Squee. Also works wonders with your other dudes as well! This card is great every time I draw it.
Anvil of Bogardan -- another good draw engine with your general. Also combos with your Mind's Eye to a certain extent, I guess. It randomly costs $3-$4, though, which might be an issue if you're trying to keep your deck under $40.
Chandra Ablaze -- Sweet in mono-red for taking out blockers, adding additional pressure to your opponent, disrupting opponents' hands, and refueling your own. Of course, she has excellent synergy with Squee.
Hope that helps. I've never built a full-on Goblin deck before, though, so I'm sure I'm forgetting a lot of useful cards.
If I just want people to draw more so I can draw more, why dont I get howling mine over the suggested Anvil of Bogardan due to the fact I can get the mine fore cheaper?
I would love to add a skull clamp into the deck. The problem then becomes, what do I remove to put it in. Same thing for the mine and planeswalker.
The point is that you don't want people to draw more. Anvil of Bogardan plus Squee lets you draw an extra card every turn while your opponents are drawing and discarding. You get card advantage, they don't.
Exactly what ForestFire said. If you're stressed about what to remove, these might be good places to start:
Ring of Renewal -- seems like Anvil does this better for a much smaller investment.
Fiery Fall -- If you want a land here, just play a land. If you want spot removal, play something cheaper. You don't need color fixing, so this could probably just get the axe.
Goblin Sappers -- Helps very little. Why not replace with Mogg War Marshal, which is definitely an auto-include in goblins?
Also strangely absent is Kiki Jiki, Mirror Breaker, although monetary cost might be an issue. That guy is probably the greatest goblin of all time!
Mostly, just take out random "dudes" and replace them with aggressive cards that pack more punch and keep the cards flowing! I hope that's good advice... it sounds good on paper anyway.
To be honest mono Red is tough to run. If you are looking to make a competitive mono red deck there are really only like maybe 3 commanders that would even be considered strong enough to even try to compete. Even then, most people would say that there arent any mono red commanders that are top tier. (I dont want to get into any discussions about how legit anyone's mono red decks are. Just agree with me that it is tougher for mono R than most other options)
When it comes to the competitive mono R commanders you are mainly looking at the following: Godo, Bandit Warlord, Kiki-Jiki, Mirror Breaker, and probably Ashling the Pilgrim. And most of those decks have to go into comboing out quickly or Mass LD to be in the semi competitive / competitive areas for EDH.
In my own personal opinion Squee is almost better off as a card included in a multicolored deck. You can use him with all sorts of good things when you start looking at multiple colors such as Survival of the Fittest, Birthing Pod, Buried Alive, Entomb and what not as means to go get him and abuse him.
I am not trying to dissuade you from playing Squee or mono R here. I am just trying to tell you that red has it tough and they often have to try a lot harder and obtain a lot more expensive / difficult spells to do the same impact as other colors.
Well I thank you for taking time to tell me that. It does put it into a perspective for me. My only counter argument, is does every deck have to be competitive? Can't people build decks that aren't the most competitive but still decent and winable? That is what I want, I am not trying to be mean or rude I am just stating my opinion here.
To clarifly: I do not care that squee is not the best commander out there, I just want to build the best squee deck. Does that make sense? I am not even sure if Goblins is the way to do that.
Ok that is good as that is probably the mentality you should have to continue in mono red especially if you want to keep it budget.
Personally in my experience the hardest thing for red is to expand into the late game. You will be facing green decks that ramp into the 12+ land count easily in a game and drop big old fatties.
In my experience it is difficult for tribal decks to work in EDH. Wizards are probably the best tribe in EDH followed perhaps by Elves (their tribal is a bit more of all or nothing though as they count on overrunning a ton and hoping nobody interrupts them.)
Personally I would try to find as many ways first to make the most of your commander. He is a good source of card advantage so any way that you can sactifice, discard, ... whatever to get some cards is a great deal. Try to use things like Incendiary Command to net you extra cards. Also you might look at some of red's recursion packages such as Hammer of Bogardan and or some of the many red pheonixes that recur on their own. These guys will allow you some of the needed card advantage that red just lacks.
these cards might give you some versatility. Also consider how you will respond to large creatures such as Primeval Titan and such not that could be a problem.

Or my first mono colour red, which is my most hattered colour, edh deck just perfect?
I am going to assume the latter, due to the little amount of advice for it I am getting.
notes - Kher keep found in my cards, so why not use.
Skull clamp is now in. As is the goblin war drum on a stick
