Kjeldoran Royal Guard absolutely needs a spot in here. He has fantastic synergy with your commander.
Survival Cache your deck cares how much life it has so something like this gives you a bit to try to keep you up over that 30 life mark. It also has a very good chance of drawing you 2 cards. You only need more life than a single opponent for this to work.
Luminarch Ascension I would probably cut this... its usually sort of a suicide card. I havent ever seen it turn out nicely it usually turns into everyone kill this player. Sure your creatures dont take combat damage but it also pulls creature kill to remove blockers and enchant kill to kill it. You can try it but it hasnt turned out nicely in my experience.
Oblivion Ring -> Faith's Fetters Oblivion Ring has this problem where if someone eventually drops an Oblivion Stone or some similar effect they will unlock whats behind the ring. The fetters is nice because it can still hit anything but it just locks it to the board. It is also nice because if you use it on a commander they get locked to the board and don't have the option to just return to the command zone.
Argentum Armor I have tried this so many times in so many decks and I have to say that it is just soooooo slow. I don't like it because I got really messed with the second I had this in play. Everyone assumes that it is going to hit them first and it draws all sorts of hate. You will spend entire turns equipping this just to have your creature blown up in response.
Planar Portal sure its cool but its another expensive to cast, expensive to use style card. Keep in mind that Citanul Flute could be a decent substitute. It costs less to cast and you will usually pay the same or less to use it. It can only work on creatures but if you are running the portal as commander tutor backup this can fit a similar role.
Academy Rector often seen in enchantment heavy decks. I can understand if you dont use her due to the fact that your commander turns off combat damage against you and you dont have much for other options to sac her off.
Serra Ascendant ok.... yes she is a giant jerk. If your meta hates her as much as I do just be nice and dont drop her in the first 3-4 turns to be nice. I think she is a great creature for white to utilize especially in a deck that cares about how much life it has. Don't drop it in the first 4 turns and your playgroup will thank you. Or you can drop it turn one and see how fast it turns into 3 v 1

Heh, Strangely enough, He is never Ganged (Never that I have seen, then again that is due to me being the one getting ganged in any game. And Nick is Nice, at time that is his downfall. Like when i was stuck so i asked him kindly to kill off the third player as I was dead next turn, the deal was I would not attack him.
So He kills him off and then i slaver locked Nick.
But yea any game He and I were at the table, People would gang me. Nick doesn't have a deck that is meant to be offensive, more slow and defensive.
