I don't really play blue, at all, but I'm looking to round out my EDH decks so that if played as a group there would be some form of control involved... I like the Patron, and he offers a good range of tricks/options/combos. But my card knowledge in blue is pretty shallow, so trying to think of more obscure/useful choices is a slow process.
Any glaring omissions? Or subpar card choices I could be improving on? I'm aiming for semi-competitive multiplayer. So I'm prioritizing tricks, felxibility over combos or anything else, though there's nothing wrong with having access to combos either.
