So I'm pretty new to the Magic world, and even newer to MTGSalvation, but I've been playing EDH with a group of friends and, well, it's time for me to make my own deck.
For whatever reason, I'm really drawn to black and what comes with it, and I'm also drawn to tribal/themed decks, so who better to get black AND a theme than Lim-Dul, amirite?
Okay, so there's way better zombie options, and probably way better mono-black options, but he still seems like a very powerful general for a mono-black zombie-themed deck.
Either way, that's what I'm running, so have a look.
Note that the people I'm playing with do not use much land destro, but do have a lot of board wipes and destroy target creature cards. The lack of land wipes is why Crucible of Worlds is sideboarded.
So there it is. Since there are an abundance of "Destroy target creature" cards in my playgroup, I need a deck that can survive without the constant presence of my general, hence lots of tutoring, recursion, and graverobbing. I'm sure there's a lot of work that this deck still needs, so I'd love to get some feedback!
