This is a mono Green EDH deck with the General as Silvos, Rogue Elemental. I'll start this post off by posting the deck list then moving forward to explaining the strategy. Enjoy! =P
Alright so that is the decklist. Now the focus of the deck is to Mana Ramp as quickly as possible, the mox's will help get to harrow, cultivate, and other excel quickly. Once you hit 6-7 it's time to drop Silvos, Rogue Elemental.
There are a lot of equipment in this deck and that is to help you achieve 21 general damage. What's great about Silvos, Rogue Elemental is that he cannot be "chump blocked" (Blocked by a 1/1 or something weak).
There's a few points I'd like to touch on also, points in which I really admire about this general. He has regenerate! Nev's disk or oblivion stone, Akroma's vengeance.. He survives all of those! Another great point is the trample, he gets the damage in! Efficiency is the last point I'd like to make, 6 mana for an 8/5 Trample, and regenerating Elemental is amazing!

Argentum Armor can help you deal with problem permanents including creatures which is something green traditionally has problems with.
Wow that is a really good idea. Good thing I just traded for one yesterday! I was considering putting it in my deck also, but now that you mention it I think it should deff go in. Could please suggest something I could take out for it?:D
skyshroud claim is about the best green acceleration
Mox Diamond may seem weak because it only adds 1 green mana and doesn't mana fix to any degree in a mono colored deck, however it is really nice to have a 0 drop first-third turn or even later when my hand is flooded for that additional mana + land drop when ya need it.
Skyshroud claim looks real good, I think I'll put it in place of my Explosive vegetation when I come across one. I don't know a single person who has that card tho

I'd probably remove Quietus Spike or Lignify for it.
Avenger of Zendikar, Beacon of Creation and Howl of the Night Pack aren't bad either. You could take out a forest for Oran-Rief, the Vastwood as well. And Journeyer's Kite can help make sure that you play a land every turn.
