This deck is all uncommons and commons with no rares. That means it's fairly within a small budget, but not so weak that you're just going to get dominated every time!
For a general, Sosuke, Son of Seshiro seemed to be the most aggressive uncommon legendary I could find. You could argue that Eron the Relentless and Ihsan's Shade are equal if not better choices, but those are only uncommon due to a technicality (since Homelands only had two rarities.)
With Sosuke, your goal is to curve into beaters, protect them with auras, and smash face, since he gives all of your creatures deathtouch. Most of the creatures in the deck are warriors and there is a fair amount of snakes as well, so it's not hard to get a threatening board position (as long as Sosuke is in play.)
The biggest challenge in dealing with only commons and uncommons, especially green, is that you don't get all the best 2-for-1s like Primal Command and Tooth and Nail. Also, you get almost no global pump effects (Coat of Arms, Akroma's Memorial, Vitalizing Winds.) To compensate for this, luckily you can use almost all of the best recursion spells, since they're uncommon. You'll need them in the face of a ton of removal.
