I recently came across foil copies of Iname as One, Iname, Life Aspect, and Iname, Death Aspect, so now I have to make a deck around them. I pretty much just used the cards I had laying around, although I had to order a bunch of random spirits. The only expensive things, we already had; the entire deck cost me about $10 total to build.
So the goal here is to play creatures and attack with them. Hopefully, they'll be bigger and more persistent than most other creatures. I've never really played with many Spirits from Kamigawa block before because most of them are painfully overcosted. However, EDH is THE format for overcosted bombs, so I'm giving them a shot. After a few games of playing, here's what I've found:
The Good: Kuro, Pit Lord -- Massive body, dominating board presence Ashes of the Fallen, Conspiracy -- let you do stupid tricks with Iname and Soulshift in general. Deathrender -- SUPER tech with Soulshift. It had better be good at $2 a pop (!) Golgari Grave-Troll -- Gets pretty big pretty fast and fills up graveyard for Soulshift shenanigans. Hell's Caretaker -- Tech with the graveyard triggers Tortured Existence -- Haven't actually got to play it yet, but I'll bet it's gonna rock (haha, card advantage joke)
Random Facts:
1. Iname as One gets hosed by the EDH general rules. My playgroup was nice enough to rule that if I spend 12 mana on a dude, I should get his abilities.
2. Iname can't fly. What the heck.
3. Maelstrom Pulse almost doubles the price of the deck.
4. Vulturous Zombie is in just because he looks like Iname.
5. Tormod's Crypt is gonna suck.
That's about it. If anyone has any suggestions, I'd absolutely love to hear them! Just keep in mind that the deck isn't ever going to be competitive, and I'm not gonna sink tons of money into it. Thanks for reading!
If you want to sink a bit more money into the deck, try something like Chameleon Colossus if you want the spirit synergies without having to sacrifice in raw power. Because I definately agree with you... Kamigawa block has a lot of overcosted chaff, even for a slower format like EDH.
Hmmmm... Shizo, Death's Storehouse sounds awesome, and I bet it can end games in a hurry with the huge beatsticks in this deck. Chameleon Colossus is great too -- if I decide to sink a bit of money into upgrading the deck, he'll definitely go in. Thanks, Surging Chaos!
Slivortal, Cloudstone Curio sounds like a fun idea. I think I've got an extra one laying around here, so I might throw that in and see how it goes. It could also be good with the Myojins and the "When you play a Spirit or Arcane spell" triggers. It's gotta be better than Footsteps of the Goryo, in any case.
I'm also going to add in a Loxodon Warhammer for more efficient face-smashing. Will update the list later.

The Bad:
Lifespinner -- Seems like it could be good, but so far hasn't delivered
Footsteps of the Goryo -- Ends up being a glorified Raise Dead, maybe. Needs moar Protean Hulk.
Pine Barrens -- Ugh. It's funny that it's functionally identical to Grand Coliseum.
The Yet to Add:
Miren, the Moaning Well, Phyrexian Tower, High Market -- great cards, $2 is too much for bad deck
Altar of Dementia -- If I feel like taking one out of Gaddock Teeg. Note it's infinite with Deathrender, Ashes of the Fallen, and Promised Kannushi.
Demonic Tutor -- Yeah, I should buy one at some point.
Strip Mine, etc. -- For those jerks. Good with Loam, I hear.
Patriarch's Bidding -- Good overall, combos with Iname, Death Aspect.
