Well, I was browsing the big selection of decks in the official database, and I couldn't help but notice there was no Baron Sengir deck, a card and villain I have loved for a very long time. So, I decided to put my mind and cards to the task of designing a deck that could use the good count. This deck might get a nice update for more vampire tribal strategy come Zendikar, but for right now, I got what I could at the moment. It's an odd looking deck, but focusing on Vamps and their damage-inducing counter-gaining abilities. Obviously, putting your opponent in a position where they will want to ram their creatures into your Vampire's waiting arms is really hard to do, so this deck attempts to create that conflict itself with Nettling Imp, Maddening Imp, Imps' Taunt, Instigator, Bullwhip, and (kinda) Season of the Witch bringing your opponent's creatures in swinging.
Usually they will try to avoid coming straight into your trap, and this is not all bad, in fact, some of the deck is used to deter attackers from ramming straight into your face after they're incited to attack. Hissing Miasma, Koskun Falls, Dread, Sun Droplet, and No Mercy all work as great defense, especially when you have to tap out due to your Season of the Witch. Lethal Vapors also helps you keep board control. Some people will still run straight into you, or the Baron, which can then gain delicious +2/+2 counters.
The last parts of the deck are either tutors, which help you get what you want (obviously), card draw to do the same, mass or targeted creature destruction, or stuff to help your Vampires into play on the cheap. Urza's Incubator, Jet Medallion, Cabal Coffers, and Magus of the Coffers. With all the coffer-like effects and large ammounts of mana needed anyhow, Consume Spirit, Drain Life, and Tendrils of Corruption make perfect fits.
Anyhow, I'm sure there's some great stuff out there I missed, any help is appreciated.
*starts taking down notes as he might build a vamp themed EDH deck as well someday*
also...do you own a Baron by any chance, because i'm having a hard time finding him where i live.

Mindslaver... how did I forget that? Sudden Spoiling is also the bomb. Also, Triskelion is an amazing addition, all three added. Yes I do have a Baron Sengir, but I traded for him many years ago, and he wasn't in very good condition, but you're right, I haven't seen many since then.
As posted, he's already a Vampire, but he can't regenerate himself. The Oracle text says "T: Regenerate another target Vampire."
Right on. I should have double-checked that piece because of how it affected the functionality of the card in question. An eight mana legendary creature that can regenerate itself might be too powerful
Sudden Spoiling is a good idea. Also, where is Arena and like effects?

True story...
I have a Baron Sengir...I think this will be my next EDH, instead of my Crosis, the Purger/Zombie-Graveyard themed deck. This will be my fun casual deck, where as my Rith, the Awakener deck is my "business" deck, lol.
Though that means I'd have to take some of the cards out of my BR Vampire build for Std. Yeah, I'll probably do that haha.

he's rather hard to find, my shop only had one and i got it lol.
Working on mine now, though it's looking more like a "Good mono-B stuff" build as opposed to a full-on Vampire tribal theme. I'll post the decklist here when I finish it(with of course a list of cards I'm still looking for).
EDIT #2: My bad, I just kind of thought about it, I'd be stealing your thunder so to speak with this deck if I posted my deck in here too(we want this to be about your build in particular), so I'll post mine in a different topic. Don't know why I didn't think about this before. Cheers dude.

i would try to fit in Kalitas, Bloodchief of Ghet and maybe a Scuttlemutt for the lulz, nothing like blowing up someone's Akroma with that combo.
