i've been seeing several edh cards with sharuum, the hegemon as commander so i tried to make my own. i've tried playing with other players using this build
and it seems to be working fine. however, i'm trying to make improvements with this deck. hope you can make suggestions
I just did a quick scan but there are a couple things I see that you may want to change/add.
I would take out any bouncelands because if anyone in your meta runs LD (strip mine, ghost quarter, tectonic edge, or wasteland) you will be down on mana. Go for duals, fetch, or filterlands to fill those slots. Also try to up your lands to 37-40 depending on how many artifact mana accels you run. Pick up a sol ring it's a staple in EDH. Next I would take out tidehollow strix and replace him with baleful strix, you want more than just a blocker and with baleful he gives you all that plus card advantage. I would also take out blightsteel colussus only because he is a big hate card and you don't want a 3vs1 or 2vs1.
For additions I would add in scourglass, you have about 6 mass sweeps, I would reduce that to about 3, 4 at most depending on your meta group. I also would take out Oblivion Ring because if you board wipe with nevinyrral's disk the permanent that has O-ring on it will come back into play. You should run more tutors, pick up demonic tutor, vampiric tutor, and mystical tutor to help you out to answer anything that my come. I would take out capsize it's too mana intensive since you don't run green for mana ramping, I rather not spend 6 mana and waste my turn when I could be casting something else more worthwhile.

Darksteel Forge would be good, especially if you can cheat it into play with Sharuum.

Card advantage is not the same thing as card draw. Something for 2B cannot be strictly worse than something for BBB or 3BB. If you're taking out Swords to Plowshares for Plummet, you're a fool. Stop doing these things!
