So, I have a bit of a reputation in my play group for being the guy who plays combo decks or win-out-of-nowhere decks. I tend to just sit there being non-threatening and then do something like play morality shift and living death on the same turn, bringing back anger in the process which I then kill with the flametongue kavu that's also entering the battlefield.
In order to ease tensions a little, I have decided to make a deck that simply plays lands, uses them to play creatures, and then wins by smashing face with those creatures. Like God and Richard Garfield intended.
I've chosen Johan as my general and am going with a landfall theme and token/mass-pump subtheme. I think the deck I've built is pretty decent, but it's a bit too goodstuff.dec for my tastes. I want recommendations for more wacky synergy without crossing over into the combo/broken territory that I'm known for.
I have a strict rule about never spending more than $5 on a card (the cards in the list that are more than that were either gifted to me or opened from packs). I'm also a serial deck-builder, so I'm extremely reluctant to spend more than about $2 on a card that won't be useful in a wide variety of decks. So, yes, I know Prime Time would be awesome in this deck, but please don't suggest it.
I own a copy of Natural Emergence and a copy of Terra Eternal but I feel like there just aren't enough enchantments in the deck for the former, and not enough land-animators for the latter. I'd be pretty happy if we could find a way to work these in.
Are the X spells out of place in this deck? Should I have more?
About 75% of my games are played 1v1 and the rest are usually 4-player. So I try to avoid cards that are only good 1v1 and especially cards that are only good multiplayer. We play with the official banlist, even 1v1.
Also, I'm pretty much the only one who plays really heavy graveyard/combo decks, so disruption isn't super important.
Basic Feedback
How would you add synergy to this deck? How would you make the themes stronger? What new themes would you consider adding?
All without going over-budget or edging into combo/cheating-things-into-play...

Specific Card Thoughts
