it would definitely be a way to keep things a little more up to date, but you're going to need to pay a lot more attention to what people are changing, lest the add something inappropriate.
it would take some work to watch, but i'm sure the one who keeps it in check would be a saint.. Plus the edit to all function would be nice to hear specific players opinions, as long as they are not disgraceful. (for instance Quoting on Nameless Inversion) Good card, can be used for Total domination of hier board or an extra +3 damage on a 4 toughness beast

Not sure how it is now, but I've made a formal (well, not really) request to Hannes, pleading him to lighten the default editing rights.

Absolutely!

Well, that is a worry, I must say; but, perhaps CAPTCHA will stop bots and the sysops will shut down vandals as soon as possible.
But, yes, you raise a valid cause for concern.
Maybe sysops could be able to alter the default editing level? Sometimes changing it to non-registered, for 'peace times' (lol); registered (after waves of vandalism); and sysops and above (um... maintainence?).

Yup, which is sort of why I've been wanting it, but not acting upon getting it implemented.

Well, that I can't say too much on. I'm a n00b, so I shouldn't judge other ones. (Just joking; there's no one more n00ber than I.)
What would/do you think of this?
Cheers,

Editing is open to all.
Thus far, only two non-registered users have made use of this.
As an unregistered editor, you may only edit pages.
That is all.
As a registered user, you may move pages, upload files and, of course, edit pages.
