I wasn't exactly sure where to put this, if the thread needs to be moved please do so.
I read the Magic Rulings quite a bit, and recently the popups have been quite annoying. I generally run down the list of rulings and open any that I want to read into a new tab. What will happen is one of those tabs will change to adtrack something or other, and next thing I know iTunes is opening on my phone, looking at a download page for "Candy Crush Saga." This, frankly, annoys me. Wasn't happening 2-3 weeks ago as I recall. I know the site needs to make some money, and I have no problem with banner ads or even those slightly annoying footer ads, but I'm going to have to stop checking the site if an ad is going to take me away from what I'm looking at. I will admit that I haven't checked Safari to see if the issue happens there as well, and if the answer is to switch to Safari, I can (begrudgingly) accept that, as I'm pretty sure the percentage of iOs Chrome users visiting the site is in the single digits.

From everything I've read, this is a tracker cookie problem specific to iPhone. It isn't related to our advertisements.
Go to the Chrome menu > Settings > Privacy > Clear Browsing Data. On iOS, select Clear All. For Android, make sure history, cache, cookies/site data are checked, then select Clear.
This should remove the problem.
This has also been embedded in some of the iphone's not-so-nice apps. So if you keep getting it with little browsing, you most likely have a bad app. Clear it again, and make note of which apps you're using. Once it pops back up, you might have an idea of which app is the culprit.
Thanks for the reply. I had just cleared all my cache/cookies stuff last night and still got a popup this morning. Also, the popups only happen on mtgsalvation, I surf other sites with no problem. I also generally only have open tabs at mtgsalvation when the popup occurs, so I find it hard to believe that a popup from somewhere else is causing my issue. Thanks for looking anyways, hopefully it will just go away soon.

Check third party cookies setting. In iPhone it's under settings, safari, "Accept Cookies". If its set to Always, change it to From Visited, then Clear history, clear Cookies and Data. Switch private browsing on (close tabs) then off. HTH
ok i haven't solve the problem, but i have found the turnaround way
after you go mtgsalvation and encounter the popup
go to the right of the address there's a three horizontal line,
press it, and choose "request desktop site"
now you can read mtgsalvation
but everytime you close your chrome and reopen
you have to do it again
but at least for now you can read mtgsalv on iphone
Wizards print good rares, players complain about cash grab. They print underwhelming rares, players complain that the cards suck. They spoil the best cards first, players complain about the insane prices of preorders. They spoil the meh cards first, players complain that this is the worst set ever.
So. I think I understand now.
As far as these forums are concerned, WotC can never do anything good because:
Card that is new and probably good = "pushed"
Card that is new and probably bad = "EDH/casual fodder"
Card that is a reprint = "lazy"
Card that is a better version of an older card = "power creep"
Card that is a weaker version of an older card = "worthless"
Does that about sum things up?
