I'm having some trouble figuring out the new user CP. Some of the old features seem to be missing or different. I can't find where my post history is listed, my sig is messed up due to the new sig editor, and stuff like that.
The spoiler does not seem to be working at all. Is this an artifact of beta-ness?
At any rate, I'd urge you to delay the switchover a bit. The planned date is in the middle of Spoiler Season. It's like remodeling a store a week before Christmas....

I strongly agree with this. Delay the release until at least the first week of February when traffic will slow down.
Does this happen to you consistently after you logout?
After logging out of that other account and back in with my own account, it hasn't happened again. I tried logging out just now and I was (presumably correctly) being treated as an anonymous user.

Rollback Post to RevisionRollBack
A limit of time is fixed for thee
Which if thou dost not use for clearing away the clouds from thy mind
It will go and thou wilt go, never to return.
The Card Database seems useless for many, if not most searches. It doesn't seem to offer any advantages over Gatherer or Magiccards.info, (though it could be better than either since it incorporates pricing info) and often returns incorrect info. (see my previous feedback on the beta for details)
The new Trading Post is still difficult to use. The only method I've found for importing haves/wants lists is to take them from Excel, reformat all set abbreviations, (MRD -> Mirrodin) move them to Word, use the find/replace feature to change tabs to brackets around the set & foil descriptions, add commas between those descriptions, add 'x' after every number, and then put bullets in front of every line. Not exactly convenient. As far as actual bugs go, it doesn't look like there's a preview feature for editing a post there. (although there is one for editing comments) I'm going to continue using deckbox.org for updating my collection and tradelists, (automatic total price comparisons for trading is SO useful) although it would be nice to be able to import that information here for trades.
I can't seem to access any of my thanked posts, or those I've thanked. (or friends) I thought this stuff was being implemented? It's not on my profile page.
Clicking on a new page number near the bottom of the Posts section of my profile doesn't direct me to the top of that new page, so I have to scroll up manually. You'd either want navigational numbers at the top AND bottom so that I can read posts in either order and hit the next page when finished skimming through, or it should load the page number that you click on as a new page.
There's no way to return to my profile page after going to 'My Content' or 'My Account' within my profile, without re-navigating to it. It would make sense to me to have 'My Profile' as a button available on either of these sub-pages, for example.
I think the custom user titles should be right under the name rather than under the avatar.
Are all the trophies gone? Seems like a waste of everyone's time to issue them, have everybody vote on them, and then just remove them completely.
I think you should delay the switch to the new format until after the new set comes out. It's going to be a nightmare combining rumor season and the changeover at the same time.

I just got my first daily email summarizing all the notifications for the day. The links seem to work and take me to specific posts within the thread as they should.

I have also provided a fair a mount of feedback on the inadequacy of the card function, its display issues and search return problems. None has been acted on as far as I can see. I won't be using it.
On the subject of the cards function, there are two non-cards on the list (that I noticed, there may be more) namely Actviated Ability Test and Activated Ability Test 2. I trust these and any other test cards in the database will be removed prior to live date?
edit: Also no idea why the quote function failed above. I used the preview function, perhaps that did it?
So you want us to move to something with even less functionality then the other client? what the actual hell? Not being able to change the posts and threads per page is annoying. Please atleast give that back I want to see my 60 threads and 60 posts per page. thank you.

I understand that admins have the permissions to change this, but it should really be defaulted to 60 threads and 60 posts for all subforums. I can't think of a single subforum that would benefit from having fewer threads show up; most of them are very active with lots of traffic and new threads, or lots of stickied threads that "count against" the number of active threads. I don't think anyone was complaining about there being too MANY threads per page (correct me if I am wrong), so the default should just be what it was in the live version.
Also, I'm restating that releasing this in the middle of a spoiler seems like a very bad idea.
It appears the text format box issues are resolved, but the icons remain the same.
A forum board that doesn't allow a user to see threads posted in, read/unread, or anything other than sticky/locked is just unacceptable. Please add these features.

First, when I am browsing a thread, I can't see the active users in the thread, the number of visitors, and the total number of people in the thread. This was a very helpful feature for me as a moderator, especially when flame wars were brewing and I needed to see if the participants were both in the thread at the same time. Am I just missing it? Or did it get removed entirely?
The next two issues I will discuss together. The first is the way that spoiler text works. The second is how the "edited by" note looks. Here's a sample of "spoiler" coding which is commonly used in many of our deck primers.
[ spoiler = "Matchups] TEXT [/ spoiler]
Here's how that coding shows up in the old version of the site. One spoiler has been expanded and the other has not. Also note the placement and format of the "last edited by" text.
The title of the spoiler box (Matchups and Reports) is very distinct from the "Show" box, in color, font, size, and general format. Also, the gray box in which text shows up is outlined and dark, making it distinguishable from the white background of the post. Finally, the "last edited by" note appears underneath my signature, clearly separating it from the rest of my post.
Now here's how it looks on the beta:
The title of the spoiler box is indistinguishable from the "click to show" box; indeed, it's inside the same box. The font, formatting, color, and everything is the same. It's a lot less visually appealing. The text itself shows up in a light gray box that is hard to separate from the background color of the post. It also lacks an outline. Finally, the "edited by" text appears right below my post without any line break. This makes it hard to separate it out from the post itself.
The biggest issue with this change is that now, running through Curse, I cannot view or post from work based on work filters. This will dramatically reduce my participation.
20 characters for custom titles is a little low; it's quite a bit lower than it is on the old software (and is actually less than some of the current stock titles, like "Resident Planeswalker", which is 21). 30 would be less disruptive.

Sing lustily and with good courage.
Be aware of singing as if you were half dead,
or half asleep:
but lift your voice with strength.
Be no more afraid of your voice now,
nor more ashamed of its being heard,
than when you sang the songs of Satan.

Will we have the option to change the forum skin? And if this option already exists, where can it be found? My biggest complaint is that the forum skin and colour scheme is so drab looking. It would be nice if we could do something, post release, to spruce it up, or brighten it up.
Not so much feedback but a question: with MagicCards.info continue to be updated with each release?
