So at this point it has been decided that the World of Warcraft Elf in the art of Spatial Merging was put there on purpose. Do ya'll think that Wizards will ever do any more crossovers with other Companies' Universes? Or do ya'll think this was just supposed to be an Easter Egg?
If Wizards ever does any more crossovers, do you think these events will have actual storyline significance?

I kinda figured that, but part of me really wants Wizards to do crossovers with other companies. For example (granted this is beyond reason), I think a Drizzet Do'Urden (He's a Dungeons and Dragons character) would be really cool.
That's what I'd like to see happen, but I don't actually ever expect it to happen.

MaRo recently received some questions on his Tumblr about whether D&D would ever feature settings from MtG. His response was that Wizards does not want to cross over its various properties in order to keep them feeling separate and distinct.
As for the Blood Elf, I sincerely doubt Wizards told the artist to draw that. He probably submitted a sketch with her that Creative liked and they let him roll with it.

Like I said, I want it to happen, but I don't really expect it to.
Wizards is owned by Hasbro, so if there was any cross over it would probably be limited to Hasbro owned or Wizard owned products. D&D or the like. WoW is owned by Blizzard, so i doubt there will ever be an offical crossover with them.
And Magic isn't the best thing to show off a cross over.
The only time i can think of where something in magic refered to other intellectual properties is during Fifth dawn where Karn alludes to other planes (i.e. a flat plane atop a turtle).
Of course these sorts of things are not driven by creative, but are instead driven by the authors or artists.

Well...
(Obviously, these aren't actual crossover cards, but I can't think of a dumber crossover idea than that one)
