Would you consider running Animation Module as a one of? Chains off with Olivia to create as many hasty 2/2s (or 3/3s) with Winding Constrictor as you have cards and mana. Could be clever to use as a finisher, or as an effective combat trick with Constrictor on the board.
I used to run a straight RB vampires before Copter-ban. Was thinking of a 1-for-1 replacement with Metallic Mimic.
I use Stromkirk condemned as a madness-enabler and pseudo lord. Works as an engine with Falkenrath gorger to mess up combat math and flash in vampires.
the mimic doesnt combo with drana. T1: gorger, t2: constrictor, t3 olivia, t4 drana, swing, game
as for the expertise, it would slow the deck down imo
It may not combo with Drana, but it doesn't require you to add another color to the deck just for 1 card. I think the consistency you get from dropping a color will outweigh getting fewer counters.
I also think not being focused on the Drana/Snake combo would make the deck stronger. I think vamps like Stromkirk Occultist and Furyblade Vampire would be much stronger in your deck since they add card advantage and discard outlets, respectively, and, with trample, they're much more likely to connect with your opponent than some of the vamps you're currently running (allowing you to get more Stensia Masquerade triggers).
i see your point. and thats a good assessment. and if it was just the snake, id fully agree. however, with green, i have access to hazardous conditions, which is basically an 1 sided board wipe against my opponents, AND artifact/enchantment removal.

If you're getting counters on your creatures, their toughness will be higher than 2, then any -2/-2 will essentially be 1 sides. I think there's currently 3 in black.
You can also get artifact removal in red, I can't think of too many enchantments that are currently super threatening in standard.

red artifact removal is sorcery speed is my issue, im trying to avoid sorcery speed mechanics. though in the interest of accelerating the pace of the deck, i have considered replacing my board wipes for metallic mimics and ramp depending on FNM this week, ill make changes accordingly
