I recently got back into MtG, and have a few questions:
I have a R/G deck that's just using M11 cards, and it's designed around accelerating out a Primeval Titan and Destructive Force, all the while doing a lot of 'deal X damage to every creature' type effects to keep my opponent's board presence down to stall out (while maintaining my own board presence with Mitotic Slime and Protean Hydra). It's all M11 stuff and it seems to work semi-well in my current metagame (and shuts down a lot of older decks that can't cope with a turn 4-5 Destructive Force).
Since the deal maker/breakers are high-ish in mana cost, I always want to get as much mana ramp as possible. I'm currently using Birds of Paradise and Cultivate as my mana accelerators.
Also, should I also trying destroying my opponent's lands to slow him down, or would that be too much?
I've also been thinking about adding Basilisk Collar since I use Magma Phoenix. Would that also warrant some Inferno Titan action, or is that making the deck too top heavy?
Explore, Khalni Heart Expedition are also good ramp from the Zendikar block (won't rotate til M11 rotates). Right now Rampant Growth is probably the best ramp but that is only til rotation. Creature ramp is probably less useful than land ramp in this sort of deck.

Lotus Cobra is also pretty synergistic with land ramp and fetchlands. It's a high priority target but can lead to high early-turn explosiveness; coupled with a manadork you can resolve a Primeval Titan as early as turn 3, leading to a Destructive Force on turn 4 if they don't do something fast which is usually pretty crippling.

I'd love to use Lotus Cobra, but I'm having a really hard time finding some (a friend and I got 2 boxes of Zend between us, and haven't seen one yet), so it looks like I'll have to shell out 80$ for them (I've gotten 0 Lotus Cobras, but I got 3 Mind Sculptors out of a box and 10 boosters of WW). I'm great at getting what everyone else wants =) Maybe I can get a playset for one of them. I'm going to Fan Expo this weekend, so I assume there'll be some good trades to be had.
I'll stick to Zendikar and up to avoid retooling the deck once Alara rotates out (that noble hierarch seems WAY too good too). I have 4 Oracles of Mul Daya, so they might be worth a shot. I'll probably use Llanowar Elves and/or Battlements 'till I get some Cobras, and try some Khalni Heart Expeditions.
When I built the deck, I only had a couple of boxes worth of M11 to use. I've since gotten some Zendikar block cards and want to improve it. It seems like there's a huge tide of options for what I need with that block.

Since you have 3 JTMS, look up the UGR Titan Force deck.
Thought Scour is terrible in BV. How many flashback spells are being run? Say roughly 15. This gives you a roughly 38% chance of milling one flashback spell. And even if you do, you paid one mana to cantrip and dump an overcosted spell. Alchemy, Geistflame, Devil's play, etc. all cost much more to flash back than your average card, so you're not getting full value out of it.
You'd much rather play Ponder. At least that generates a tangible advantage.
Birds of Paradise is the best for RG, just because it also adds R.
Well, as much as I personally love BoP due to their flying, being a one-drop, and whatnot, you say this as if Lotus Cobra isn't also capable of adding red to the pool.

It seriously isn't, and more than that an Exploration is not what a deck wants if it's trying to accelerate to a card that costs as much mana as you have starting cards in hand.
Further, use of mana bugs in a Force deck should be avoided as much as possible. Rampant Growth, Explore, Cultivate, and Trace of Abundance are all good. Oracle of Mul Daya can work if you have a sufficiently high land count as it is actual card advantage but still suffers from the lack of library manipulation like Halimar Depths and Jace 2.0.
Inferno Titan could be a great include into your deck, and playing other efficient mana denial spells can also be worthwhile.

I'm really regretting that missed out on the Alara block... All those cards seem crazy good.
I'm thinking the Oracle of Mul Daya warrants use (heh, I saw the card when I opened my second booster of Zend, and though - I'll get a playset. This card looks way too useful). I have a fair bit of land. The Titans are at the 6 toughness threshold to survive a destructive force, so I think the Inferno one's a shoe in. You're right about Explore and the Walking Atlas, they only work decently with Cultivate. Can't wait to get home and tinker

Other mana accelerators I've found were Harrow, Growth Spasm and Overgrown Battlement. I'm thinking of replacing the Birds with the Battlement (I usually don't have mana problems with Rootbound Crag and Terramorphic Expanse) since it can survive a Pyroclasm. Are the others worth using?

It's a two mana exploration. Seriously.
