It will oscillate as people side in hate, then it becomes unplayable, then they take out their hate, then it's good again. Sort of like tempered steel last block. They printed a bunch of grave hate to hoze the Innistrad block to push the new rtr block. I guarantee you a year from now we get 6 different 'destroy target multicolored card' in the next block
ah I see well thought id ask because everyone is talking about zombies and how fast they work.Though I have all the requirements to play it I just rather play fatties like the new angel of serenity
so I have scoured some of the forums here for standard and was thinking bout the absence in any type of reanimate decks. I know there is a ton of grave hate in the new set of cards but are some of the tools we get enough to make a solid reanimator deck. personally Im trying to work out a g/w/b deck, in any case please let me know what you all think, thanks.
I disagree a bit on this one because one its creature dependent and becomes a liability if this deck ever runs out of steam or creatures aren't on the board. This card is like every other ritual style card and they never get you there in standard. though this is a fun deck and am working some of the kinks out a bit. I fully understand burn at the stake but three seems a bit much actually try running two. though with the new green white cards I imagine this match up to be the hardest. especially with the life gain aspect and by turn 4 u I assume are trying to burn at the stake so by that time without blocks and in a perfect world you are really gonna have to hope they don't gain 6 life in those 4 turns. (I tend to play a lot of life gain)
Well if Wizards did "kill" counter control in standard, couldn't they just make a spell that does the same thing as Venser Shaper Savant? I know I know it's a long shot but couldn't that be a ...reasonable( I use that word cautiously)answer?
I was just talking **** for the sake of it don't worry Umm.. about your alter .. just thin the paint i guess ? And maybe bring the edges into the painting to make it flow more? I'm not expert maybe someone a little more experienced can comment on it.
Its ok you just had me worried bout the signature on it a bit XD. but in any case thanks I'll keep all this in mind I use Gold's fluid acrylic paint so its already really "watered down ". I was thinking that keeping him off centered made it a bit more interesting composition as well but I see your point as well. thanks for the crit I hope to make some more soon.

is it ok to play 3 trasure mages? i´ve been playing with 3 grand architects because i still need the 4th and i ALMOST NEVER GET IT... it pisses me off...
you should get the nexus. Once you´ve got the first poison counter, you can choose later on which way to kill the oponent.
why no thrumming bird? If you´re playing that deck, with augury owl, then you want to ramp real fast, so you should play another wurmcoil, and if you´re not proliferating, the chalice is just worse.
I am a trinket mage lover and i have thought about putting him in (1 mage 1 hex parasite... even though overlord jubokko doesn´t approve of this ) but 2 trinket mages for 1 effigy,( because if you´re using augury owl to hit blue dudes to play fattie, you almost don´t even need the help the chalices give you) doesn´t seem too good...
but that´s just me
in my experience for treasure mages if i have 3 things to tutor i will play with 2 treasure mages. As of right now in my tezzy deck i play one of treasure mage since i play slaver and a WC engine so it works just fine (this also is without any other draw except tezzy) i used to play 2 mages but found myself wasting a draw since i either drew into my engine or slaver and used my first mage to tutor i did the same with trying 3 mages for 3 things and same results so id stick with one less mage for the total of you're 6 drops or more
just wanted to thank zoot as well. hope that he keeps the good work up on other novel if they come out these reviews really help me in determining if i wanted to buy the product... which i dont actually
Zombie Venser would be very interesting. No more PW card though.. which would make it possible to have 3 different versions in play at once!
that would be interesting if somehow they revived... er completed venser and he rose up to be father of machines, it would make sense to me since he was tinkering with the tech they had anyway (then again its just wishful thinking)

Not sure if you'd call this 'ideals intact', but there is something pressing this guy to possibly do things that he wouldn't normally do. (and both he and Jace know it) While it could be the savage fury and desperation of a green planeswalker pushed to the edge, it could also just as easily be a trait-defining curse that he's fighting. (and possibly losing).

after some speculated talk about garruk and liliana i was wondering what the hell is up with the little trinket as she puts it. what power does it contain and i know it has a mind or minds of its own so does it control liliana to some extent or is it just something that grants power for a period of time in exchange for the use of the wielded physical body... or something like that. (then again its just me speculating i suppose)
