So i finally got around to testing Zoo, and i have to say that i had a pile of fun playing it. keep up the good work lantern and and anyone else championing a fun deck
5- not looking me in the eye when addressing me. I know there are some people that are autistic that play, and i completely understand in those cases, but how am i supposed to know you are talking to me.
I agree with all of them but this one. As someone who finds it immensely difficult to look people in the eye (BTW, not autism, social anxiety.) I only feel worse to know that you dislike me for not doing so.
social anxiety on that level is not a problem to me, there is a difference between being uncomfortable looking at me and not wanting to look at me.
1- people accusing me of cheating in EDH. i play fast sometimes, just because you didn't get to shuffle my deck doesn't mean i am cheating.
2- people telling me i am playing a deck wrong for not including a card.
3- whining... just in general
4- complaining about the overpoweredness of a single color
5- not looking me in the eye when addressing me. I know there are some people that are autistic that play, and i completely understand in those cases, but how am i supposed to know you are talking to me.
6- verbally attacking me for not shuffling their deck how they like it.
7- not knowing how your own cards work, especially in standard.
8- female players that believe i should go easy on them because they are in fact female. You are not helping yourself, i am trying to stomp you into the ground... you are the enemy, i don't care if you have boobs and less testosterone then me.
9- anyone that says "this is not fair" when referring to drawing certain cards or playing against a certain deck.
10- shuffling face up "to better spread out the cards" then presenting the deck to me.
Cool people remind their opponents of their Pact triggers, even in tournaments. You aren't obligated to, but a cool guy would.
i am going to have to disagree with you. a cool guy follows the rules of the game in a tournament. the risk they are taking is their own and consequences are there for a GOOD reason. when it comes to casual though... if you don't rewind you are kind of a jerk if nothing has really happened.
i have been playing him in restore balance, and he is a godsend. having a way to win in a quick manner is so very nice. As for more aggro decks, if he can come down he wrecks them, they have to kill you beforehand. with the surge of poison, if you get to drop him he rips them apart, it is a similar story with zoo.
tldr: i love playing him so very much
Highly incorrect. Maybe in testore balance wherre you wipe the board every other turn, but against a real control deck, if you tapp out turn 5 aganst zoo youre dead to a fluery of burn and rampager.
I your talking about dropping him turn 8 or something and zoo is dead, well. Its turn 8. The stablizing killed us, not a win con.
I am only speaking of restore balance, it is the only control deck i play. I feel that his ability to prevent zoo to rebuild is important. while this might not be the case with other control decks, in restore balance he is allowed to play many roles.
Edit- lantern, would you rather be playing naya or GR if you knew you were going into a Keranos heavy meta?
